the thing i hate most about yasuo

SwiftKitten88··4 votes·1,427 views

isn't his windwall, it isn't him throwing out his tornado, or his free passive that gives him a free shield and double crit.. it isn't his absurd 2 item powerspike No.. what i hate about him is that he turns your own minions against you. and his point and click hard cc

there is no "stay behind your minions" all your minions do is give him a way to get in and out

i would much rather him be able to dash though his OWN minions.. then i could at least CONTROL and manipulate the wave (obvious he would still be able to dash through neutral camps)

dodging his tornado is stupid easy even (some) bronze players can do that, but you cant dodge the knockup on his Dash when he Q's with it instead of throwing out the tornado, why does he need a point and click hard cc?

Or just give him mana, insta fix.

Yaśuo Main3 votes

that would literally break him, make him OP.

how?

Yaśuo Main3 votes

item 3508

Not only will it synergize too well from his build, he gets ALOT OF CDR off of it too. He will never run out of mana, and he will basically have ult up every 20 seconds or so late game, maybe even 15 IDK. Long story short, a Yasuo with mana is the worst possible thing to ever fight.

Also, wind wall CD will be VERY low too.

Silverjust1 votes

Oh, right. Did not think about this synergy.

What about energy?

Nah, cause you could outplay him, and he'd have to pay for mistakes instead of spam until eventually get it.

You don't quite realize what you are proposing...Yasuo players rarely if not ever build any form of CDR and so the most they will usually ever have in a full build is maybe 10-20% if they build an item that has CDR. None of Yasuo's core items have any sort of CDR and so reverting him to mana would basically encourage Yasuo getting some cooldown reduction.

There are plenty of champions that use your minions against you. Malzahar, Akali, Sivir, Sion,

Position further from your minions. They can't bodyblock anything from him, so don't waste time trying to get them to bodyblock his attacks for you. The same reason you wouldn't use minions to block Malzahar from you.

Yasuo doesn't have point and click cc. Yeah, he can E+Q for a smaller AoE tornado, but that can actually miss too, particularly if you were close enough to the target that you used it off of. Or you can see him dash and, during the relatively long dash animation, either dash or flash away from him or stun him. Yes, it requires either a misplay from him or really high skill play from you, but it is possible to dodge.

i have never in my life see his E Q miss.. he dashs through YOU when he does it.. that is the point and click.. i mean sure if he does't click on you it can miss but thats like saying "auto attacks and miss if u attack the wrong target"

flash before Q activates when he is dashing, that's the easiest thing possible to do

Though i dont necessarily agree with yas being op or anything, i gotta say... telling people to use flash to dodge something kind of proves the ability is not healthy. YES, lets use our 5 min CD safety net, for something yas can do every 10 seconds to us!!!

How in the actual fuck does that prove the ability is not healthy?

You flash to avoid Sion's Q, Olaf's Q, Renekton's all in, and Rek'sai's unburrow. You flash to not get nailed into a wall when Vayne hits you with condemn; you flash when Janna gets just about in range to hit you with her snare, so you can get away. You flash when Taric lines up a good stun and you don't have other tools to escape it.

Flash is used to escape every ability in this game. Saying that flashing to avoid Yasuo's E > Q combo proves it's "unhealthy" is probably the most retarded thing I've ever seen on boards, and that's fucking saying something.

you listed skill shots for a majority of what you said besides the rene and vayne and those are just a matter of positioning which the op is complaining about since you cant position away from your minions in lane without missing cs

And what's your point about skill shots?

Yasuo's E > Q combo isn't a point-and-click. It's not quite a skill shot either, but you can avoid it with nothing more than a dash or even just being right ontop of him / walking towards him at the right time.

It's basically a character based AoE which has a delay / movement clause attack, similar to Kayn's Q. That means it's more difficult to dodge than it is to land, but definitely avoidable.

And you can absolutely position away from minions. Standing to the side is not exactly difficult. The players I see who don't care about Yasuo are the ones who are aware of their minions, whilst the ones who retreat through a wave - giving him the minion conveyer belt - are the ones who QQ.

Try going into practice tool and using your E Q when you're standing immediately next to a dummy. Then go into a custom game as someone with a CC ability and flash against a friend playing Yasuo. If he E's you, and you either CC him during the E or flash away during the E, that guarantees he won't get the Q every time. And if you go for the cc route, be ready to sidestep the tornado as soon as he's no longer cced. It's seriously not that hard.

Play 100 games of Yasuo or so 100 1v1s as Yasuo. You will miss EQ at some point.

Watch streamers, they miss it sometimes.

It does happen.

It can miss, I can assure you of that. If he is right on top of you when he does the EQ nado, the E's dash range is set and so it will put him too far out to knock you up. You can also walk towards him if you are fighting close, that will help increase your chances if putting him far behind you--enough to dodge the spin entirely.

He's hardly the only champion that uses your own minions against you and many champions abuse your own minions far harder, such as Irelia and Sion.

As a MF playee I disagree: nothing is worse than windwall.

Your idea of having Yasuo dash using ally minions continues to remain one of the stupidest things that taint the Boards; that’s saying something.

Stop repeating this idiotic shit without having played Yasuo and understanding the consequences of such a change.
