Why can't the divisions we be in be based on the champions we main?
I'd rather not be Nunu's army, when I can be affiliated with the champs I play often. Not a crazy change, but I'd like to see it.

yukumari1 votesThis is also difficult because, until you get into champ select, you don't know who you'll be playing. But the people you play with are decided before the champ select portion of match making.
If the game assumes that you're going to get your main champ because you get your main role as, say, a top laner, what happens if the enemy team bans your champ, or pics your champ? Or worse, what happens if you need to swap roles unexpectedly? Now you're matched up with a bunch of people who play more proficiently than you can with whatever champ/role you have anyway.

And then we would have hundreds of people in Yasuo-related tiers.
