These nerfs are excessive, and thats exactly whats going to happen if you go through with these changes.

Im not exactly sure why you think hes such an overpowered champion.

  1. Hes already falling out of favor in OGN, receiving neither picks nor bans.
  2. Hes not been a priority in LCS and the few games he was played he didnt even do well.
  3. His win rate in solo q is around 47-48 % and not rising.

In short, your balance team is once again late to the party, nerfing a champion who had a burst of popularity and has now already falling out of favor in the meta. The result of which being a trash champion who is never picked at all.

Azir's a little overtuned. It's not like these nerfs are crushing. He'll be fine.

You haven't argued anything more than 'But Rito, he's not being played by pros!'

If you could explain why these nerfs should be reverted, or forward people to a post explaining it, you might get more people arguing with you.

Which nerfs do you not want to see changed for what reason? Is it a good reason? Do you honestly believe that he doesn't deserve the nerfs, or do you really just like the champion?

Sona mains have some better arguments than some of these Azir posts, at least they compare her Qs range to other champions she would be laning against, her mana problems, her squishiness, and that her counters are fairly popular nowadays.

Ive argued plenty, you simply lack reading comprehension.

If pros arent picking him now when hes supposedly overpowered, what do you think is going to happen when hes nerfed and much weaker? If his win rate is on the lowish side now what do you think is going to happen when he receives massive nerfs?

Its not like this cycle of overnerfing and then a champion being unviable for multiple patches then rebuffing them 6 months down the line hasnt happened many times in the past. Hell it pretty much happens every single patch.

See here's what happened:

They made a pretty great champ that was bugged to heck so he sucked. They fixed the large majority of his bugs. Then people found out, "Oh shoot, he's actually REALLY strong when he functions as intended."

I don't see what reducing his Attack Damage would do

The Q nerf's are okay I guess, but what they should bring down is his Soldier damage slightly

His soldiers should be killable, like every other pet in the game.

i agree it seems like riot has just been flipping coins to decide who they nerf and buff

Ahribuff for no reason Syndranerf for no reason

The worst part of these changes is this reduction in his soldiers attack range. Its a bad change that could potentially make him clunky and bad.

Im confused why you think people wont play Azir anymore. Most people who play him consistently agree that in lane he is a monster of a bully. He has long range that deals good damage, this gives him poke/harass and lane control. In addition to his long range he even has a dash to escape or should he engage it gives him a shield. Is this OP? Not overwhelmingly so. Is it fucking annoying an should be toned down a bit? Yes. To me thats what those nerfs look like to me, a toning down of his lane dominance which is a good direction to go if you ask me.

Btw as to why his Win-rate is so low, my guess is that he is squishy so unless he demolishes his lane they usually come back and melt him. If they nerf his god-tier bully lane phase then they can give him compensation buffs later if he needs them. Right now all anyone can see is "OMG AZIR IS POKING ME DOWN FROM RIDICULOUSLY FAR AWAY WITH NO COUNTERPLAY!!!".
