Is it safe to say baron nerf was for LCS?

Baron buffed when LCS was off.

Baron nerfed when LCS was about to start.

They said they’ll revisit but clearly that seems like a scratched plan at this point, did Riot think people forgot about baron?

Still got ridiculous two man duos killing baron and sneaking it at 20 because of how weak it is.

If the recent Perfect Timing nerf where Riot literally 100% confirmed that they balance the game around pro play is any indication, I don't find it hard to believe that the Baron changes are somehow related as well.
