@Riot - I don't think mandatory lock-in is that great.
So I just got knocked out of queue...because I had my champion selected and didn't punch "LOCK-IN" like we're supposed to now. Riot, I don't think this new change is great. It puts us in the same category as dodgers, which is definitely not the case, and it feels suffocating to know that if I don't hit Lock-In immediately despite the fact that I at least have a champion picked then the game will see me as just another dodger.
When this happens, I'm trying to type with my allies, they're giving me feedback on my pick, and I want to be able to switch quickly to different champions as I read their wishes without being penalized. I had my champion selected and was pivoting between two different ones when Champ Select kicked me. Now I have to wait 5+ minutes because your system thinks I'm a dodger when I had 100% no intention to dodge.
Can I at least get some clarity on this particular change? Why did you feel it was necessary? How can it be justified in the event of server lag and other latency problems that commonly happen, where seconds are crucial? This change just does not feel great at all, even though I'm liking Dynamic Queue most everywhere else.
