Yes, I know that it is a targeted ability. I used to play a good amount of Nidalee, back when she was a mid laner rather than a jungler. Still don't know why she's played in the jungle now. Tried playing her there a few times, I don't think that I pull it off right, so when I play it it just seems bad, and I don't see many people playing it in my ELO, so I don't get examples of what a Nidalee jungle is supposed to do or why she's played in the jungle in the first place. Many high ELO jungle mains claim that she has among the fastest clear speed of any champion, but as she has 0 AoE in her Human form and 2 AoE abilities in Cougar form, which are both very low damage, I just don't see it. When I tried to jungle Nidalee, I would usually die during the first clear at some point, and come out of it too low to gank anywhere and forced to back.
Anyways, yes, empowered Pounce is targeted. What's your point? You can target the enemy before you jump (I think) and you'll attack them right after you Pounce. Besides, if Auto Attack is enabled, you should just instantly attack as soon as you finish jump. At least, that's how it always worked for me when I played Nidalee mid. If the enemy you pounced to is the nearest target, you should get the AA into Q that you get.
