Rek Sai passive

Is there anyone else out there who feels like Rek Sai (especially after the changes) has a really unfitting passive? I feel like before hand it at least was slightly applicable to him as an identity and for his champion archetype, but now his gameplay has completely changed.

Can I get some other opinions? And what do people think his passive should be if it were replaced?
