Reminder that if you win a game...

That it isn't automatically a free pass to be toxic. The summoners code states:

4. ENJOY YOURSELF, BUT NOT AT ANYONE ELSE'S EXPENSE and 6. SHOW HUMILITY IN VICTORY, AND GRACE IN DEFEAT

Too often is the "losing" side of League linked to the well known toxic problem in the community, but to say that the ONLY people who are toxic are the people having a bad time quite frankly isn't right, and it promotes the idea that because toxic-victory isnt talked about, that it must be acceptable. And this is far from the truth. We can't rid or even begin to prevent the toxicity in the League of Legends community if the perpetrators of this divisive toxic behaviour are not only those who are on the raw end of the game, but also the ones who are victorious.

Remember that even though there are winners in your game, that there are still losers, and they (potentially) won't be enjoying their time as much as you are, so there is no need to show them what they already know by putting them down any further!

Do the right thing, and don't taunt people and become part of the problem

I remember saying "gg close one!" to the enemy one game about a week ago. Their Jax responded something like 'nah ez im not even trying.' some other nonsense I didn't really read into. Good old overconfidence. We respawned and killed them, just barely saving our nexus. We ran down mid and killed their nexus towers and at their nexus I said "gg close one!" again to which jax had no response.

Some people are just born a poor sport. That game actually made up my mind if I want to even have all chat on. I've been all-chat free for about a week now. I don't miss it. :)

Nothing more satisfying than saying ''ez'' after the enemy Yas & Lee spamemd ctrl+6 and ''so ez'' in chat after every kill tho :^)

if people didnt get triggered by "gg ez" asshats would stop using it.

Eh, good natured shit talk is fine. If you cry because of gg ez, you're a bad loser.

Fun story from earlier today. It's mid game and I'm alone pushing out botlane as xayah. I watch the enemy lb walk through wards all the way from mid lane to try to pick me off. Naturally i back off safely as lb chases me to the tower. I give him a cheeky "11/ 10 gank LB =P"

Lb shoots back "I find it funny that you shit talk when you're losing". To be fair, we were.

Cue 15 minutes later and we have wiped their team and are beating down the nexus. "CAN I SHIT TALK NOW, LB? =)"

I can say without a guilty conscience that I have never once said GGEZ

russianshaco9/23/2017, 12:14:33 PM1 votes

I've never been offended by people saying ggez, its like saying "u suck lol". I say it sometimes because I'm far too edgy to say something generic like "ggwp".

I get more offended when my team gets stomped and they say "GG WP" than if they'd just say "EZ", like honestly don't make that joke.

I thoroughly enjoy using GGEZ in normals regardless of win or loss.

I enjoy it more and more as I see that more people can't handle mindless banter.

I don't flame "otherwise", and I put otherwise in quotes because I don't consider saying ggez as flaming. It is what you make of it.
