Honestly the only reason thresh is good right now are because of items, his last buff was the mr per level which couldn't have mad him so OP and before that in 6.13 his lantern had it's ap ratio removed in place of a soul counter, not to include the dramatically OP buff of giving him two souls from epic monsters.

he is strong right now due to items so when riot changes up support itemization again he will be in a horrible place.

again in a horrible place? Has thresh ever really been in a bad place though? AS far as I can remember i've never seen thresh be a bad pick. He's always been relatively strong and played very often.

I am sorry I was wrong, Riot has said that there is a bug lingering from when the darkstar mode was here that has made quite a few flays cc enemies hit for an additional 0.1=0.2 seconds and it is going to be fixed.

Everything should be all straightened out soon.

Yes he is picked often for his versatility and he is considered fun to play. Weather or not his win rate is high or low he always has some of the highest pick rates of support.

Oh it was bug fix then? Not that I mind thresh being picked often, it's just kinda a problem when hes strong as well because he doesn't really get countered, so he'll just get picked every game.

yes he has a bugfix coming and thresh was hard countered by karma, morgana, janna, and lulu because they could shield an enemy during the early game to stop snowballing as well as counter cc to prevent engage. Right now the people who counter him aren't meta right now so unless you are purposely counter picking instead of picking something that is meta you will have a hard time.
