Wait, am I seeing things?

Did they lower Veigar's delay to 0.5 AND make it on cast?

That... sounds too good to be true, and probably is.

I'd like someone to explain this to me.

Edit: for clarification.

Basically, these notes make it so Veigar's stun is what it was pre- 5.4. Except before 5.4 he had a .5 cast time. Making it start on cast means his warning particle pops up for .5 seconds before the walls pop up.

If this is TRULY what the notes explain, then these are great buffs.

The cast time was always 0.25 seconds! I don't know where boards got the idea that it was 0.5 Anyway, what this buff has done (I think) is start the 0.75s wait time at the start of the cast time.

Before, Veigar would stop moving for 0.25 seconds while waving his little staff around. After this, walls woud start to appear. Now, walls start to appear when Veigar waves his staff around.

I read it as a straight .25 second reduction. So, if I recall correctly is used to be a .5 second cast time, then a .75 second delay. Now I believe it is a .5 second cast time, then a .5 second delay.

The warning now comes as soon as he starts casting it though. They say on the notes that they're reducing it "slightly." Not by a full .5 seconds.

No, cast time was removed completely from his E skill.

Even if it is what you described it as, that means the full delay is only .10 seconds.

Just went to another board where they were talking about how it has a .25 second cast time. that makes sense, since Riot didn't mention anything with changing the warning time, so going from .25 cast --> .75 delay and warning to .25 cast and .75 warning start --> .5 delay keeps the warning exactly where it was.

just the stun itself comes out .25 seconds faster. For Veigar players it will feel faster, for the enemy team it will feel the same as last patch.

Exactly, the warning stays the same, but the actual time it takes from button press to stun is down .25 seconds. Useful, but I don't think it'll improve his ability to land the stun.

I just noticed that as well, unless im misunderstanding it, thats an even bigger buff than what he had on the PBE (since as far as I know, the PBE just made it so the skill started when he actually used it, instead of waiting until the end of his casting animation)

Making it go from 1 second delay total, down to .75 second delay

If im interpreting this right then its actually now 1 second --> .5 seconds

Edit: The dashes being stopped thing also exists, but it was pulled until 5.6 due to a bug.

Edit 2: I also noticed his Q is now 2000 speed, whereas on the PBE it was 2200

I really really hope this is true. This would be a great buff.

It now has a .75 second total delay before stunning (including cast time), last patch it was a 1 second delay (including cast time), and before the nerf it was a .25 second cast time with no warning particle.

This patch is .25 seconds faster than last patch, still .5 seconds slower than before the nerf, and still has a .75 second warning particle.
