You posted this whole summary of changes coming to the jungle, but unlike most other rioters (Meddler is a great example) you didnt stick around to answer any questions or address any concerns.

> Jungle camps are all worth the same creep score. One consistent issue in judging the impact of a jungler v. jungler match-up is that creep score can mean vastly different things. This is especially true if one champion specializes in single target camps while the other is an AoE monster. Now each camp in its entirety will grant 4 creep score, which generally matches the camps’ value and should provide for easier comparison of a jungler to their direct opponent.

This is removing a MAJOR aspect of what makes a good jungler; great. Being able to track the enemy jungler by his cs provides a great advantage to the jungler that takes the time to learn this ability.

Another popular question from that boards post: How will partial camps work? If I steal 3 raptors from my opponent, and he smites the large raptor, whats the split?

(no disrespect is meant by this post, just not used to having bombshells dropped without any form of red text to address questions/concerns in the aftermath)

Now I think one thing Riot is intending to do is one, lower this invisible skill gap between junglers. Not everyone knows this; as a heavy jungler earlier seasons, I never thought of it personally. The second major part that I imagine Riot is aiming for is to push junglers to actually push into the enemies jungle and figure out the information they need for themselves via warding, invading, etc instead of people hitting tab and doing simple math.

A skill gap still exists, junglers that know how to abuse plants and gain vision will have a better chance at success compared to a jungler that doesn't. Riot wants junglers to actually engage with the enemy rather than looking at the score board. I think people aren't seeing it like that and only seeing the negatives when I honestly believe this change is going to help lower invisible skill gaps but create bigger visble ones. Enemy should actually ward and gain vision rather than know just by CS.

Likely we will need some extra tools to help put that back in, (maybe a weaker jungler ward type thing?) but I do think it's a good direction. So yeah, I think Riot didn't really explain it that well for what they are aiming at doing and people are just seeing it as a massive negative.

I don't blame Sotere fyi. Dude is probably going to get murdered in seconds the moment he comments on there when almost 1000 people are just raging this change is awful.

I'm not necessarily blaming sotere. Nor am I saying that the change is going to have a negative impact on the game. I just want reasons and thought processes. I'm not going to blindly rage just because they're changing something... After all this is preseason, and jungle ALWAYS has major changes that we have to adapt to.. I just think its reasonable to ask for a bit of clarification:P

Yeah I completely agree. I am just trying to somewhat share what the likely goal of this change was since I don't see a lot of people looking at it from Riot's angle. Jungle changing each year is basically a meme.
