It's a game-changing item, allowing one to secure their safety during team fights so that your team can reposition and save you (Like teams in Solo Q do that Lul). It may be called a bad item because of how strong assassins are right now and how much damage there is, but it is pretty good. However, it's outclassed by Hexdrinker/Maw when it comes to reliability, as Zhonya requires you to correctly time a cc or close-to-death damage, while Hexdrinker/Maw require no skill to use and will activate upon taking a certain amount of damage, life threateningly or not. Hexdrinker dominates lane vs mages, and it eventually, with how its ability works, outscales Hexdrinker-Maw a little bit in the late.

its okay in solo Q. Most teams will leave you out to dry, or fail to re-position to assist you which imo really impacts the usefulness of the item.

Also, the invulnerable state is not nearly as valuable as the revive state of a guardian angel. While invulnerable you cant dish any damage out back to your opponent, where as guardian angel you can just fight it out to your very last hit point.

An AP version of GA would be nice.

In coordinated team-play Zhonya is a much stronger item because your team should be aware of how to react properly when you need to use it.

Only the passive is strong ,rest of the stats are prety shitty.
