Tristana is back on the meta

The thing is that I saw a heavily upvoted coment on other thread claiming that Tristana was back on the meta, so I looked at the stats she has on soloQ and I have to agree:

She's such a strong champ that needs huge nerfs, absolutely legit just look at this disgusting soloQ numbers and the marginal play she has on pro play, we cant afford to let Tristana in this busted state for more time, please nerf her.

what people ignore is that Tristana and Caitlyn are often the "bar" for ADC's

if they're good then the amount of marksmen you get to play lowers drastically. as a matter of fact the only reason Jinx is pickable right now is because Trist is doing subpar compared to the redneck rampage she was on earlier this season and all of last.

Riot is aware of these numbers and are keeping it like this for a reason.

If you want half the marksmen pool to even be CONSIDERED then Caitlyn and Tristana cant be overly good.

tristana might not have good stats, but her kit does remain cancerous to play against. and it is all about her w (immunity to knocups and reseting way too easily)

Just got a game against tristana. Got vi as jungler.

Tristana jumped during vi ult airborn.

Vi stucked on her ult.

Tristana jumping while,stunned safe.

This retarded mechanic has.to go. Definitevely.

A main adc

Tristana is an auto spammer that's also braindead and has 0 consequences to her mistakes (unlike Yi) because of that leap. Auto spammers such as her and Tryndamere do NOT deserve to be meta because of the sheer amount of undodgable damage. I'm gonna get downvoted now by Tristana mains Ik that but the rest of you pls tell me what do you see wrong with my statement? I'm legit curios to see why you want Tristana back in the meta.

oh god no i cant stand trist i still get migraines thinking about her first kit and how she could go ap (yes i still havent let season 2 go) every time trist is in the meta i die just a little more inside i really hope riot guts her before she starts being the only adc playable

Kind of expected. She has no "real" weaknesses and is pretty much the "jack of all trades" adc.

When this adc rears its ugly head. Literally everything turns downhill. Even the pro scene.

Honestly tho, I PERSONALLY don't think she's ever a bad pick. Just because of her jump.

Iv never really seen Tristana drop from meta it's just some other ADCs work better for pick potential like Varus. Her damage has always been high and her scaling has always been insane especially with the increase range with level.

She's at least back in the meta for mains. This is about where she was when I was climbing with her last year. And then she became flavor of the month and suddenly everyone bitched about her.

I still ask myself on why Riot gave this Tristana so many safety features on top of her scaling autoattack range from passive, like having a Kha'zix jump that resets on takedowns and a point-and-click knockback.

I wish they'd at least reduce the range of the knockback on her ult, or at least make it so that her W doesn't fully reset when she does get a takedown
