What players don't realize about win rates.

is that if you are good at said champion, and actually understand how to play the game. you can increase their win rate state by a solid 10 percent.

So let's say some champion has a 48 percent win rate, sounds sad right? Actually it's not, for if you were good at that champion, you can increase it to be a 58 percent win rate on your own accord.

That is why when champions have a absurd win rate like 57 percent or 55 percent they are disgustingly OP. For the stats lied to you. Those mains dont have a 55 percent win rate. They actually have a 65 percent win rate, and can maybe even increase it to a 70 percent win rate if they are super good on said champion.

This is also why when a champion has a win rate as low as 44 percent it becomes a main issue. for if you use my logic.

54 vs 65 is a BIG difference, one player is border line just barely winning abit over half their games, while the other player is STOMPING in most their games.

I'm not saying win rates don't give us information, they are quite useful in telling us what is broken and what isn't. But keep in mind you aren't getting the full story out of them, especially if you have no clue how to read and study them.

That's legit just a bs claim.

A player in challenger has played 300 games of shen this year. a year is 365 days, we aren't even done with the season yet. That means he has played shen once to twice a day every time he logs in, and has maintained a 60 percent win rate while doing so. Shen also has a 48 percent win rate.

So let me put the stats in a more clear lay out for you

Average Player: 48 percent win rate Shen Main: 60 percent Win rate Increased by: 12

So if you aren't winning on a champion at a 50 percent win rate or higher, don't blame the champion, perhaps it's time you look at yourself.
