10 ban blind draft would fix URF

This isn't a question of what the solution is. It's obvious this would make the mode more enjoyable. The question is why haven't they done this yet?

Could a Red (with a job title that relates to gameplay) care to at least give me a lame bullshit excuse as to why you'd intentionally make a game mode less fun for everyone when an extremely easy to implement solution exists?

ARURF should have a ban phase as well.

If the champ you get assigned is banned, the game auto rerolls for you free of charge.

Or better yet, only give you a champion after the ban stage. But yes, I do want to ban at least Kassadin from ARURF cause that shit just has no counterplay even after the URF specific nerfs.

It shouldn't be random. I want to pick Jhin every game just for the movement speed. Banning out Lux and Veigar wouldn't effect people who aren't so obsessed with their score and winning in a ROTATING game mode that they adhere to its meta.

it wouldn't, people will pick the same champions every game, as was evident when ban draft urf was introduced, you saw the same OP 10 champions every game

They addressed this a little while ago. AR-URF seems to be the only thing they're doing now. When ever they put up normal URF, the game had a ton of player playing it, even players who were inactive for a while. But when URF was turned off, they lost almost double the players. The older players played URF then just couldn't go back to the boring farm for 30 minutes game. AR-URF apparently stops so many players from leaving, there by keeping the game alive

It doesn't stop players from leaving. They're mis-attributing the drop in players to URF when that's not the real issue.

What the fuck is blind draft?

Blind Draft is what was before regular draft back in Season 5, the first person banned 3 people, and then everyone picked blindly against the other team. It was in the old client if you ever played One For All.

They had more than 10 champions permanently banned the first time URF was around and people still complained about everyone picking the exact same champions.

stronger towers too so people would stop being like "I need to splitpush all game"
