I had to go against a top lane Darius. I own almost the whole character list, but auto dodged when I froze looking at my champ list on which one could possibly counter him? Any suggestions? I thought of Riven, but I suck with her, and although I own Garen, I have never used him.

Twiggles1 votesI would suggest someone with range over him. I can see Gnar doing well as long as you save your hop for when he tries to pull you. On top of that, Gnar has the poke and %hp damage to deal with Darius's tankiness. Just don't let him land his pull as mini Gnar or he'll make a new loincloth out of you.

is pretty good, of all the times i've laned vs new darius thats the only champ I won hard as. I played 
vs him once and i killed him a few times and he did the same to me

Tworie1 votesRenekton is pretty good against him since he has sustain with his Q and he can engage or disengage with his W and E and he can use his ult to survive Darius's ult. He also has armor penetration in his kit too.

I'd argue he's definitely FAR better than he was at teamfighting, if only because a single successful execution can potentially lead to reset city; he can essentially sit near his carry for the first part of the fight; peel anyone who dives them off with his grab (kinda similar to what he used to do in teamfights), wait for a reset opportunity and then try to obliterate everything once he has his passive active.
Somewhat weaker in terms of being a lane bully though. Really the biggest advantage that new Darius has over old, is how easily he can get multiple dunks in a teamfight now, since his passive instantly applies full stacks of bleed (well that and the 40~200 bonus AD).

who jump all over the place once they reach reset city, the most he can do is walk up to them and outside of Bronze 6 no one is going to let that happen in a teamfight.

I mean, while Darius isn't exactly the most mobile guy on the block, he's not the WORST either (he does at least have his pull)
Also worth noting that, thats only accounting for Darius alone; you'd also need to bear in mind that his entire team is also likely there, at the very least he'll be able to attack the frontline (given that they'll be fighting his team; likely in melee range). That said, mostly the point of Juggernaughts (and he fits the bill the best honestly, not even having a slow cleanse like Garen; or any speed boost at all for that matter in his kit), he'll have a hell of a time getting to someone who can kite him properly; but he'll obliterate them if he can get there.
rG Thundrag1 votes Fiora is super fast and her dash lets her kite around his q and vitals give her ms/heal to let her out trade him and use the MS to also get out of his q also kind of hard to beat her in an all in around 6 as darius.
Riven can constantly e away from your q or e into you to deny the heal and she all good all in potential throughout most of the game.
Garen trades very well vs darius and since bleed is physical garen's match up vs darius is actually skewed towards garen now since you can start cloth with bleed being physical and all, also your lvl 6 all in is stronger than darius generally since you'll kill him very fast with your % hp execute before he can use his healing to an advantage.
Irelia can get favorable trades with her stun and minion aggro while dodging your edged q with her dash towards a minion or yourself while having a bit of sustain herself for fights.
Lots of ranged CC and can kite him super hard while having low mana costs(energy)
is a safe choice but he won't really beat darius just outscale his team fighting

rG Thundrag1 votesI actually forgot about tryndamere, since Darius no longer has an AS slow you'll get cheesed out a lot, also your damage is based on TOTAL ad so his w substantially reduces your damage. With bleed being physical trynd can go into a tabi + vamp into like a shiv and really give darius a hard time.
Acadiaum1 votesI would say Ganks, I've mained Darius for a long time so I have a pretty easy time winning lane, best thing to do is gank him hard before he gets any kills.
If you failed a gank and he gets away do not chase him to his tower, he will pull you and get a possible double. I've killed many junglers who thought they could finish me but got yanked under my tower and slowed.
