wtf is with taking adcs top lane and adcs mid?

The Bard Dog··9 votes·3,484 views

ive been seeing it CONSTANTLY and it's getting really confusing and annoying. they never say ANYTHING about it, and then someone doesn't know where to go and team comps get botched.

my last 6 games have had an adc in another lane and im really sick of seeing it. these people screw teams, make people troll, you name it.

had a kalista top lock kalista and say "dude if you dont take smite olaf you screw us", when she was last pick.

lately its been absolutely ridiculous how immature people are on this game. ignore pick order, instalock, troll, or just plain bad "metas"

You're gonna see ADCs mid lane from time to time, a lot of Varus mid lately.

Ezreal is also a common mid lane pick. You need higher knowledge of them to play them there though. You should not be seeing that many ADCs on top.

However I think Quinn shines on top compared to her bot lane.

I almost never see Ezreal mid lane, and there's a good reason for that.

Ez is WAY too squishy to be mid lane. It's not like top/jg where most of the tankiest of all tanks are, but...I do go mid with a tank...

Mordekaiser

If you see Mordekaiser (or Veigar, my not-so-tanky other mid main) and you're mid lane Ez, prepare to be shit upon. Because that's happening.

Ezreal just blinks Veigar E

I've only seen Veigar a few times, and I've seen Mordekaiser way less than that. Ezreal mid is common, and there are so many guides and videos out there that show you how and when to use him. I've seen him have success mid, but it is dependent on your knowledge of that champion.

Mordekaiser can take out Ezreal , but it can also go the other way around just as easily. It's an even match up. Same with Veigar , but I believe he has the advantage around level 6. If you are counter picking for him you are going to want something like Zed Morgana Talon or you could follow the ADC as mids path and pick Tristana . Again it's strongly based on how well you know how to build the champion.

You also do not have to play tanks on top, and it may not always be the best thing. I play a non-tank top with lots of success, but that's also not uncommon. Who you pick to fill what role should be more based on your team composition.

Varus was made to be a midlaner

No matter the role, no Champion is supposed to be played in only one way or lane. ( w)

Some ADCs fill a Caster roll pretty well. ADCs top lane if ignored get free farm and strong poke.

I agree 100%

Ezreal Varus And Lucian are actually really really bs in mid lane xD Because most of the time you're against Zero Armor squishy mages.

gotta say in silver 5 everything is viable

it's inconsistent and leads to a ton of team confusion with roles.

op class is op ... why to take mage who needs to manage mana and aim skills when you can do more damage as adc without ever going oom and healing all the time

well the only thing to consider is thornmail ... but that hexdrinker is just so shinyyyy

ADC's top i will agree is not the best (other then Quinn) but there are plenty of ADC's that are good in the mid lane such as Graves, Lucian, Varus, Corki and Quinn. Mid lane champs have high dps and ADC's fill that role as well.

As where Quinn is standing on the side like "Where do I go...?" And Rito shows up and is just like "NO WHERE YOU STUPID CHAMPION!" But for real Quinn doesn't fit and role all that great. Mid: CC will rape you and the enemy most likely wont auto attack you at all unless it's a Yasuo so your Q is almost useless. Top: If they build tank it's over. I've built Armor Pen against the tanks. It wont help you cause you'll need more ad to do stuff, then you'll fall off late game. ADC: Since when was getting close to a enemy adc a good idea? When they have a support with cc... The blind is useful but you have to have the perfect support for Quinn to work down there. JG: Yes... I actually have done jg... It works actually a lot better than all the lanes imo. But there's just one detail.. She's squishy as flip.. She gonna die a lot when she ganks. Then she'll fall off late game if you don't get fed.

kinda depends on it first of all theres skill lvl and i admit lots of people starting to use adc out of the original lane but dat kalista was an idiot kalista depends way too much on a supp
varus mid actually is quite strong but then u need like a nunu on ur team cuz teamcomp and stuff
most people just are blind metasheep to the point theyre annoying and dont get the principle of a teamcomp sadly enough and even if they do they tend to think that others will add whats needed

I mean, I can see some adc's going top or mid, but communication is OP.

You don't have to play meta if you have a plan (apc+support bot can delay a late-game adc, or an adc top can make a Nasus' life hell), but you need to communicate these damn things.

Welcome to summer. Vayne and Quinn can play top pretty effectively. Kalista makes almost no sense as she has no ult or W passive without a support in lane with her.

Played earlier against an Ashe top, while she was really squish, I wasn't that familiar with the matchup and ended up getting bullied out of lane a lot with the long range slows and pokes.

While it won't be super optimal, it's not an unviable strategy either, if only to catch the opposing laner off guard.

Quinn can actually go anywhere, although with varying results. Top quinn shuts down their bruiser for twenty minutes before you start to roam, mid quinn screws melee assassins like Talon and Zed. Jungle is actually fairly easy. Support, I mean you can but why? Adc is good if you have a good support, otherwise it's too hard to position with your shorter range.
