This isn't restricted to just LB, why don't you try building some extra MR instead of sitting at 42 like it will actually help you.

Rush abyssal as a poke mage? I was playing ziggs. Couldn't stop her combo because she was only QR me and dealing like 70% of my health. I did chalice as first item yet couldn't survive her

Ziggs is horrible for poking against an assassin because his mobility doesn't move him quick enough. He's a really dangerous champ to play in lane unless your opponent is a target dummy for obvious skill shots.

If your playing Ziggs you shouldn't be anywhere near your opponent, focus on cs and stay in the back line of your teammates mid/late game.

Plays Leblanc, smirks and grins about how stupid Ziggs is for not bouncing his bombs halfway through the lane for CS.

QR = 70% your hp, are you building straight damage on Ziggs? Do you not have a single MR rune? Don't you know that your W - E Counter Leblanc?

Went close? Her W range is good enough. I need to AA to farm you know. Also, I died once to her. But it took absurd effort while she had to do nothing to play. I build chalice , i had something like 60mr. My W doesn't counter her QR LOL

This is why the mage update needs to happen, immobile mages have zero way to lane against assassins.

This strategy is since forever... If you wanted Magic Pen faster, you can also buy Haunting Guise instead.

You most probably were a mage so here are my tips to counterbuild her:

The best way to counterbuild her is to buy chalice as Mana Regen item and rush Abyssal.

If Abyssal isn't that good on the champion you play, you most probably have a high enough range to stay far and farm safely.

If in the late game she still is a problem, Banshee's will destroy all her burst potential. Banner of Command is also a good option, Rylai's and Liandry's can make a big difference.

with that build she has no cdr. push and dont be in q range->she has to use w to farm or shell lose the lots of cs

W can stop and hurt her during her W E Can hurt her during W R can be used on her back-track W, this is common sense. Even your Q can be used on her W.

Also Chalice is awful.

If you are in range for her to do 70% of your HP bar then it isn't just her W missing then QQ, this is obviously hyperbole of what happened. You likely got chained because of poor positioning then QQW which, yeah, because you built chalice the worst mid AP item in the game you died.
