Getting pretty annoyed at playing people a whole league ahead of me in all my promo series

When I was climbing out of gold 5, and now out of gold 4, every promo game the enemy team has 3-4 players in plat 5 or 4. My team is lucky to have one.

Why do I have to beat a team of plats with a team of golds in order to climb within gold? I don't mind playing with/against plats, but they should be evenly split between the teams. And preferably in promo series I should only be playing with people a division or two above me.

Don't you love how MMR works? If you go on a win streak you get placed against better players while having shit players, if you go on a lose streak you get placed into silver/bronze games.

It's a lose lose situation lol
