How im supposted to keep playing if i get 14 LP for win and lose 24 LP for defeat?

Right not im just playing 1 game per month to maintain D5 rank, there is 0 point for me to keep trying if i lose 2x more LP than i gain.

It means your hidden MMR rating is lower than D5 and it's trying to kick you out.

But it gives you massive protection from demoting from a whole tier. It won't demote you unless you become at least as low as plat 3.

The hidden MMR rating swings a little faster than the system they visually show you. LP changes are determined by that invisible number which is the same number that actually does the matchmaking. You need extra wins to correct it.

The opposite happens if you're streaking wins: LP gains are higher than loses

I know how MMR works, but its bullshit anyway, i just have 0 desire to keep playing when i know i have more to lose than to gain. LP gain/lose should be at least equal no matter what.

But the system believe you shouldnt be in that Ranking at the moment, if anything its more in your favor because if it was equal it would have kicked you from D5.

Maybe you should just let it decay till you hit a point where you feel comfortable winning in plat. one game a month is not much in diamond considering some of those guys don't sleep.

Right I get that but What i meant was you have to decide what you care about more. To me your post was that you don't feel a reason to play because you lose so much LP but that happens because you don't win enough and that's due to you being rusty, my suggestion was to decay so you win more and feel better. If all you care about is keeping your rank then ok, this post was to vent not to find solutions.

25 a win 16 a loss im losing alot tho :D

for example me(ez) and blitz were doin fine had a salty riven having a bad time top vs teemo, and being camped and, our veigar was fine, but shyv afk'd at lvl 3, the 4 of us still there held out till 40 mins i even got fed, but mistakes are made and the game was in the enemys favor.
