Ever since her release she was pick/ban status or at least a common pick/noticable threat in EVERY game. Now I rarely ever see her.
If I recall correclty she hasn't received any nerfs and a lot of the new items are good/decent on her.
I can see she might be hidden behind the cloud that is Xin Zhao, Master Yi, and other rageblade + sated uers but even when people pick tank junglers such as say amumu or j4 you'd expect Vi to be in there but nope, I don't see her at all

Warrior is now arguably the worst enchant, while some of the others CAN work on her, they work better on a long list of junglers, and Vi is still in her nerfed state.
It's really that simple.

She's a Dive Fighter. She's neither here nor there when it comes to DPS Carry potential that a Sated Rageblade user has, or the full on team utility and engage potential that a true Jungle Tank has. Unless she's artificially powerful like as if the meta favors her (the Jungle meta REALLY liked her for a long time, for example), she really doesn't have anything particular to her that another champion can't do better.
Fondling Gems1 votes^ The one thing I want to add on to this is that the Tank meta helped her out a lot because with cleaver plus w she could get 50% armour reduction on someone for her entire team. When sated this was quite scary but as tanks are no longer all over the place vi has fallen off some. You can still build AD and one shot those squishy adcs running around but you have to build almost pure ad and you just die after that.

Here is the thing, most other champions can abuse those items better. For example, she doesn't abuse Guinsoo's Rageblade well because she is not auto-attack centric.

Madra1 votesYou don't see Vi because of 1) Malphite 2)Gragas 3) Every ADC eventually building Sterak's Gage. Vi doesn't really have enough damage to kill an ADC with all the shields that they can get, and she's only one enterprising flash or jump away from being completely cut off from her team. She needs strong dive buddies, but it's risky running such an all in comp. Malphite's engage is AoE, and Gragas can single out an enemy without going HAM.
