or the range buff on his Q
or the enemy 80% part of his ult?
His damage since dfg was removed has gone down by 60% if the nerf goes through, by the way.

This nerf isn't even going to do anything. All it'll hurt is his full combo when all I need to kill squishies is Q+R anyways. So why are you targeting his delayed meteor of all things?

His ult still needs a full rework. He'll never be a healthy champion while he has an ability that directly punishes his opponent purely for picking an AP champion and doing well.

Sure, lets ignore his Q hitting 2 minions now and the fact assists grant AP as well. In a 40 minute game a Veigar can achieve 1,700+ AP, which wasn't really possible with old Veigar. Lets also pretend that Veigar doesn't just press R on an adc and they die, Veigar never even needed dfg to do that, all it did was allow him to do that sooner, but then again you can just Q them anyways earlier on before just R is enough.
I don't know why people think a mage with insane burst to even tanks and an aoe zone control is ever "trash".

That's only true when you consider him in a vacuum. When you actually take into account the fact that he tends to reach roughly double the amount of bonus AP that he did before, he actually does roughly the same damage more reliably, and more if he gets a lead.
