For those of you who complain that you have everything unlocked already
You did it. You beat the economic section of the game, for now. Congratulations. Now please stop whining that there isn't enough content or ways to spend your IP, etc... etc... MORE SHOULD/WILL COME EVENTUALLY!!!
It is not that easy to acquire everything in the game quickly. But given enough time, everyone will experience this (having everything unlocked) someday as well. If you unlock more than 1 champion in between champion releases, then you will eventually run out of new champions to get for a time. Runes and rune pages are expensive. So having them all means that you played a lot of games and had to earned all that IP. Meaning that you have many many hours of gameplay logged.
In a technically free to play, receiving new content every few weeks ok. It is not like they owe you anything they haven't promised. They even made it so most of their RP purchase only content can be acquired for free with hextech crafting.
Now, for those of you who purchased RP for content that IP could have given you, you lost your right to complain that there is no more new content for you to buy anymore since you spent real money to remove the time it took to acquire the IP needed for that RP purchased content.
And for those of you who want easier ways to get IP or IP based content, like through bonus IP events, remember that this shortens the time it takes for you to get all the IP needed to buy everything.
The game has been out since 2009. How many other free to play games have kept you interested for the same amount of time (roughly 6-7 years or so)? Personally I can't think of any others. 130 ish champs in 6-7 years is around 20 champion unlocks each YEAR. That is not very much.
Alright, venting over. It just bothers me to see people whine over something so pointless as "there is not enough new content" or "new content doesn't come out fast enough" or "IP needs to be easier to acquire".
