Every person ive seen saying that kai sa "doesnt need buffs" "shes good already" was gold 5 or below

(this post is not to be taken as an offense to lower elo players, its more of a informative post)

Just a PSA people, in low elo EVERYTHING is viable, since ppl do NOT know how to punish her multiple obvious weaknesses and ppl do too many mistakes, pre buff volibear at 45% wr was also viable in silver and it doesnt mean he didnt need the buffs, does it?

Just because you have a positive win rate in silver DOES NOT mean that kai sa is a super viable and strong champion.

Above plat kai sa is hot garbage, shes an adc that cant lane with 500 range, Q does nothing against someone who knows how to control waves and her E locks her out of autoing for almost 2 full seconds, not even mentioning her 2 minute CD for a 0 damage ult at rank 1 (lol 2 min cd for a janna shield that doesnt give ad, pretty much the worst ult out of adcs other than like cait), and her W having a 20s!!! cd at rank 1.

Shes probably still gonna be weak after the buffs, but more playable in diamond+ atleast.

Eh, last season I was high platinum.

I'm in the camp that she's better than people think, and buffing her is a mistake. That being said, It's not a major one, I could see it go either way. I just think playing it safe is a better option.

Exactly. Like, I knew people were just jumping the gun saying she's bad, but figured since people complained too much there was gonna be buffs. The range one currently on the PBE is exactly what I guessed weeks ago.

Oh no she definetly need buffs if they want to see her bot. She gets out traded by literally every other adc in lane so they really need to look at making her laning phase more survivable If shes ever gonna see the light if day in this lane.

Sounds really sad, the most broken role in the game only has like 7 champions that are broken now since Kai'Sa doesn't appear to be WTFBroken. Alert #FakeNews media

Yeah 525 range next patch. And her W burst which is her only major strength low elo is getting siphoned to her Q. I dont have a problem with her unless shes fed. But since im silver elo, my team generally feeds her and im stuck dodging her w (luckily thats easy) and wondering how they managed to feed her.

Kai sa is just too weak early game (due to all the reasons mentioned on post), which is why she auto loses lane to like almost everything that goes bot lane (and other lanes) in high elo, and if shes behind her kit becomes even more useless, hence why shes weak and has a bad diamond+ WR.

I think that... she's supposed to be a late game monster like Vayne... without that late game carry potential. Vayne is supposed to auto lose lane too I think. I mean I love her kit, but I agree that she's probably a bit weak. I always kick myself for casting E. I have lost probably about 15 kills because I cast E because I suck and think it's a steroid and misinterpret how long it locks out your AA.

Yeah its pretty terrible to press your steroid and then have to wait almost 2 seconds in lane to be able to auto attack or even cast a spell, it does make her lane very bad, atleast thats being buffed a bit.

And yes, vayne is a shit laner too but vayne is still stronger than kai sa in lane while outscaling her massively.

I know this might shock you, but the moment you see kai sa pressing her E you can click on her opposite direction and then trade after it expires.

She doesnt have a dash out of ult and she has 500 range, she cant force anyone to fight her in lane with her E steroid up, specially when its so ridiculously obvious "hey guys gimme 2 seconds dont go anywhere im charging my steroid!", meanwhile every single other adc gets their steroid in or out of a fight by just pressing its respective key, at any time.

im not a jackass i pay attention to information given to me when i left this post i looked at the amount of views it got and i left the second i commented so nobody would of gotten into here before that and by the time it took you to comment the number only went up by 1 which means that your the only one who viewed it and thus was able to see my comment in that time to downvote it

Uh, did you ask like several times for her range to be buffed to 550, and I countered that with saying too high, and if they were gonna buff it, it was gonna be 525? (Good ol PBE has a 525 range buff for her~)Please refrain from saying that people CANT grasp or understand your posts, because you pretty much considered I had no clue what I was talking about, nor had any clue about the champ, yet the PBE buff tells me otherwise.

Don't worry, I told them several times in their posts similar to this (they begged for her to have 550 range) and as soon as I told them that they are looking at it wrong, they went on a full lunatic rampage, saying I don't know shit about the champ or how she functions. My issues with her was she could use a bit of a range increase (525, and what do ya know, there's a 525 range buff on the PBE) and less lockout time on capped stat E (it's currently .75 on live, I said, although not on a post sadly, that the lockout should be .5, and there is a PBE buff to her E that makes it .5 (.6, but ya know, it's still close to .5)) Ever since that range buff if they looked at it, they must have realized they had no clue how to balance her, and decided to not reply back knowing they might be wrong. A Diamond toplane player knew what range she should be ok at. This person legit HAD no basis for the 550 range buff they begged for.

Honestly from what I've felt Kai'Sa has a much better late game than Vayne, at the cost of having an even worse early game(Vayne's isn't even that bad anymore now that people build her crit and use shiv for waveclear).

People asking for buffs are also those that didn't learn jack shit from Bard.

Bard released: Me: "his kit is strong, Holy fuck" Boards: "Bard is so weak, Riot buff please."

Riot buffs Bard, people finally learn how to play him properly -> "omg Bard so broken, hotfix pls"

Thing is with Riot, is that they release a champion, and then they don't wait long enough to buff said champion. For example, Ornn was quite weak on release, with his ultimate being super clunky, and his W dealing current HP dmg. Riot proceeded to buff him a couple of times, the first and second ones being QoL more than anything. (Adding slight knockback on Q etc.) Then they made his ultimate next to impossible to screw up. This made him quite, quite stupid to play against. He's been nerfed since, his W no longer giving him Unstoppable, which makes me quite sad honestly. I'm not trying to get too deep into as I'm trying to prove a point. Anyway, Kai'sa is perfectly fine where she is. New champions always struggle, as well as a hybrid ADC with 500 auto range. Can't expect people to play one game and be like, "Oh yeah she's easy" If she gets ahead and gets the items she needs, she facerolls the game. With just the buff of 25 attack range, she's gonna be quite strong. I'm just slamming this comment down because Zoe was out of control on release, took way too long to nerf. (Which she's quite fair now, seems like the nerfs did the trick.) Kled was a good example of what a new champion should look like. Fun, different, and just wacky to play. Ornn was interesting, but after the buffs and the nerfs following them, he's just like any other tank. Alright I'm done. Have a good weekend people.
