@ Meddler Shen Inconsistencies opposed to other champs
< These are tanky champs that are allowed more movement speed than
. Looking from a logical standpoint Vlamir isn't that Bad, but I feel as though Shen should be faster than Jarvan and Cho'Gath (2 primary role tanks who look heavy but move faster than shen) Shen's armour looks extremely light in comparison to J4's. Why is his ms so low??? bumping it up to a nice 340 or 345 would help him out a lot, I know shen is somewhat mobile, but then again so is J4 and having a bit more MS could be that little thing to make him viable.
It would slightly help with farming, poking, landing taunts and overall make him more ninja, 340 MS is no strangers to Tanks >.>
or 345 >.>
As for his Q range it is a tiny bit lackluster.
is allowed more range and damage on his single target Q than
, but it would be weird to give shen so much range on an ability that is intended to be followed up with an auto-attack right? >.>
No! whether they want the second benefit is totally up to them, (I mean afterall, the impact range has late game is slightly reduced when MS ramps up) making it 500 or 525 units would be a decent place while not going too far out his auto-range and wasting heal. Currently Shen's Q (which is a throwing projectile) shares the same range as
's Q (which is a jab) Change Is Needed Here!
What can be reliable source of damage for shen without putting him on top is addressing how he gets his Ki Strike reset. I believe implenting a safe and more guaranteed way of him getting it up faster (maybe varying at different lvls) could be the main thing to balancing him, as you have already said yourself.
Last but not least, shen's shadow dash dose not feel as rewarding as it. I believe implementing Hybrid Scaling would help sneak in a bit of much needed mid to late game damage. Solution: 0.5 AP and 0.5 Bonus Mov Spd. This would allow the shen player more damage regardless of the build as MS is a universal requirement and would make him a bit more unique (Hi
). There is also that awesome logic "In Speed Is Strength" (reducing the base per lvl may compensate for this change).
