Vayne and Lee Sin: Take a hint, Riot

Both have pick rates above 30%. Vayne's pick/ban is near 45% and Lee is about 36%. I'm not saying nerf them, I'm saying look at what's going on around them:

  1. Bans have been entirely dictated by overpowered champs since Juggernauts happened. Mundo is banned like 74% of the time on LoLKing

  2. The next nearest pick rates are Thresh and Tristana, at 26% and 25%, respectively. That represents a huge chasm in perceived champion value.

  3. The game is so snowbally and damage-heavy that only the best ganking junglers and most elusive crit-focused ADCs are effective in most games.

What happened to the whole "make every game feel unique" thing? We had that when you could jungle almost any champion, when you could top tanks OR carries. Now most viable tops are only so because the rest are banned, and alot of people areprobably pretty sick of seeing Lee and Vayne every game

Trist honestly has too good of an escape and range safety plus being a late game hyper carry with a decent early game I'm not surprised she is picked a lot hell im surprised she isn't picked more with how good she is and her new skin.thresh IS broken because he has one of the most over loaded kits of a support.vayne is broken because she deal massive true damage and has two safety's like trist a dash and a knock back.lee sin has been broken for awhile infact there was never a time when Lee was Not a great pick with high mobility high damage high CC and tanky I don't know why the fuck riot didn't NERF him to the ground.

The reason their pick rate is so high is mainly down to everybody thinking they can be the next Gripex or Gosu, i have attempted to main both those champions at least at one point. There is too many champs that have a high reward with a low skill cap, i would name some but then i am in danger of creating and argument. I do how ever agree with the main point at hand with the game being fully focused around the same meta picks, Mundo is an absolute joke of a champion right now along with brand and any champ that can use guinsoo rageblade and hextech gunblade. They went and made all the ADCs very different to play but that does not exactly = them becoming viable most of them are now even further behind other adcs and it just seems like it doesnt make sense to play anyone other than lucian or mf. All matches these day finish at 25 minutes and the teamfights are happening ridiculously early its like league of skirmishes at the minute the amount of times i see 5 people in one lane before 15 minutes is crazy could be due to my elo though.

{quoted} 3. The game is so snowbally and damage-heavy that only the best ganking junglers and most elusive crit-focused ADCs are effective in most games.

id say it has to do with vayne dealing darius level of true damage, without the conditions attached. and lee sin being one of the strongest junglers for years, who only fell out of favour becuse of a couple nerfs, receiving buffs again.

lee sin was always a top pick when he was anywhere near good. and vayne is known as one of the strongest lategame adc and 1v1 champs in the game. she consistently deals more than 1k true damage against tanky champs right now. all she has to do is max w. you cant itemize against her. and if she manages to snowball she practically already won the game.

its less a problem of the general picks somewhere else right now but specifically of these 2 champs.

one important factor when it comes to lee is game time. hes one of the strongest early game champs in the game who has the most reliable jungle ganks. and since games right now are incredibly short and snowbally, its easy for him to end them before his damage falls off. so this change was definitely in his favour.

Mundo is especially less threatening when Vayne is in the game. Now that Thornmail is weakened, there isn't much one can do to stop a champ like that
