wota was deleted mainly because double wota comps were broken af when they worked

vlad had little to do with it

people always think vlads the poster child for why vamp was nerfed, but he was nowhere near it

want a good reason? Look at current LB. THAT'S why vamp was nerfed. Not LB specifically, but what she's able to do with gunblade (the heal amount)

The point was it was deleted because spell vamp was toxic. Drain tanks and mages are not healthy for the game. Especially a mid laner when he can stack both hp AND AP? And that scales with the drain? I don't think so

Look dude, the only unhealthy forms of drain tank in this game belong to Mundo and Swain both who possess high base stats, health regening passive, and huge amounts of sustain which become both obnoxious and overbearing outright when strong.

Vlad plays less like a tank and actually relies on his damage output to stay alive in fights where as the former actually can survive burst while regenning through it. Granted the biggest reason they aren't successful is because grevous wounds is effective.
