The problem with jungle items is that they are way too cost efficient

On any given jungle item, with just ONE of the stats already gives more stats than the 1500g you purchased with

For instance, Magus enchantment:

80 AP and 20% CDR

80 AP alone on this item is worth 1600g, already being cost efficient without the half of max cdr

Devourers isn't as cost efficient with the attack speed, but the magic damage on hit is worth way more than the CDR on magus is

Warrior enchantment, The Attack damage on this item alone is worth 1620g, once again more than the buying price, never mind the price of armor pen and cdr

Juggernaut enchantment is a little less cost efficient with the health, with the value of health being 1460g, but you also get cooldown reduction and tenacity, something that is only aquirable from two none consumable items.

Yeah I'd be ok with these items if the price was DOUBLED

I think the idea behind them is to get more players and champions into the jungle so that you don't have people fighting over this position because they don't get the lane they like. It's not like you can just take the enchantments right away, you need to take Smite to start off so no Ignite or Teleport or Flash combination, plus I feel Jungling is a lot hard to get gold in now, since unless your taking the Poacher's Knife you don't have anything to give you more gold as you kill monsters ala the Crest of the Ancient Golemn or Lizard Elder or Spectral Wraith.

but in return jungle monsters actually give way more gold than they used to

after one buff and two camps i can b for a jungle item

And jungle camps now take almost twice as long to spawn and are much tougher. Your point?

I'm pretty certain that's intentional. The item is meant to be cost efficient, with the added difficulty of the new jungle, junglers need something to give them a glimmer of hope that they can stand out besides having kits loaded with sustain.
