Just got demoted but I did not deserve it. What do you think? Check my games.

Biggest problem with league now - personal skill doesn't matter. I can't carry 4 feeding players as a support main.

I happily invite you to check my match history. I am at the top of my team in almost every game in vision, deaths, kills, assists. It's laughable how much of a skillgap exists between mine and the enemy team.

Why is this happening so strongly right now?

Demotion and promotion are not about deserve. It either happens or does not happen. If you actually belong in that higher rank you will get back to it, and if you do not you won't.

Personal skill still has an effect, but it's not an effect on individual games. It has always been a part of your total game average, if only because you are the only common factor across all of your games. Keep at it and your average will show your skill, even if your last 20 game W/L does not.

Games youve won, you have a teammate with strong engages. Ones youve lost, its the other way around and you guys probably get shat on standing around or engaged on, or you guys just ignore the fact that you guys have no strong front liners.

Okay seriously, I'm tired of all these dipshits all like "Oh it's all you cuz ur the only constant factor in your own games." No man, sadly not. If league randomly matched people together no matter their MMR then you would be right, however once you hit the 40% winrate mark you'll have to be hell bent on rising up and you'll need to queqe with a buddy to help you. Out of 3 games I queqe for ranked, it's set in stone that in 2 of them I will not have a tank on the team other than myself. I've given up on playing support champs like morgana and karma and such because poke comps don't cut it this season. 3 tank 1 hypercarry 1 zoning mage. Maybe just 2 tanks and lulu. I'm sorry but sometimes you just get streaks where people vehemently refuse to play tanks, opting for 3 assassins or mages instead. Sometimes a bruiser will slip in, if you're lucky but even then, the game will be hard as fuck if the enemy has those 2 or 3 tanks. So how do you win in games that you basically lost in champ select? Luck. Luck, that your enemies are absolutely horrible, even worse than yourself and your own teammates. But most of the time, if they're smart enough to draft comps that have a higher likeliness of winning, unlike your team, then they aren't that bad. Guys, what you don't understand is this: the League elo and matching system is far from perfect, and even if you have good shotcalling and mechanical skill, you can lose games through your team and through champ select. As an example, this is a game where I lost both through my team and champ select. https://matchhistory.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/EUW1/3493047455/201440170?tab=overview . "Mimimi, rakan is a support blabla" Yeah but some generic builds are just so damn strong that it basically doesn't matter which champ you take them on. https://matchhistory.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/EUW1/3493070088/201440170 . To the 1st game, udyr basically lost us that one. He got 1st blood off of flash ksing my kill on renekton, then he ksed another kill topside, snatched a kill from malzahar mid and then went down botlane and gave vayne the shutdown gold. He commenced flashing for kills his teammates had, generally showing no signs of map awareness and getting caught out while starving botside of ganks. At one point I was level 13 and he was level 9 just doing the whackest shit, towerdiving a 3/4ths health renekton while I was miles away, stuff like that. For the latter half of the game he was straight up gone afk farming. Now these are just normals, but man I swear. My rankeds don't look that different. It's come to a point where I'm practicing carrying with support champs :D I regularly play with gold and plat elo players, my solo/duo ranking is bronze 2. Put simply, elo is inaccurate, I wish when I queqed up without buddies I'd get higher elo players but it's not gonna happen without boosting, which is another major problem. I ended up playing against a tristana 2 times, after she absolutely destroyed both games I added her and asked her what the hell was happening, well seemingly I was talking to a chall booster. Even provided me the data if I wanted some boosting :D No, I prefer playing myself to be honest. Now you can say what you want about mentality blablabla. Sometimes, people are just straight up unlucky. And sometimes, they're straight up very unlucky. I've lived long enough to be able to decipher when I'm lucky and when I'm unlucky. And I'm a very unlucky lol player. It's still fun playing for me you know, I get a lot of laughs out of my games. But damn sometimes I'm so unlucky I deserve an award for it. And let me tell you something all you plat and dias out there apiring to achieve more. You don't get to challenger without understanding when you you were lucky and when it was your own skill. And the more often you notice your luck, think about that guy out there that's having bad luck just because you're having good luck and give him a shoutout.
