I think Nocturn's ult should be reworked

I think his currently ult is really simple and just...bleh.

His ult should really emphasize his whole shadow/darkness/nightmare theme. We would remove the semi global dash on his ult and increase his ult duration to 10 seconds. During the 10 seconds, Nocturn will envelop himself in darkness and become empowered. He'll gain movement speed and the ability to walk through walls(only when walking towards enemies). His abilities would all be empowered(Sorta like Shyv's ult).

All wards(or any vision giving ability, i.e teemo shroom) will become inactive. The minimap would not show where enemies are on the map. The one cool thing would be that you are not able to see what your ally sees. Your vision would be set to 600

Nocturne as a whole needs a rework.

Rek'Sai is just a big 'f*ck you' to Nocturne players.

I was thinking that his ult actually be a nightmare. For example if your at low health running around while Noc's ult is active, random fake ults would be thrown at you such as, Ash's ult, Ez's ult, Draven's ult, maybe a malphite coming out a bush and ulting you. Thats scary as FUCK lol..

What if Nocturne's ult had its cooldown reduced to 20 seconds if you didn't dash?

Essentially, you could use his ult without going in to play some serious mind games with your opponents. Just hearing "DARKNESSSSSSSS" makes most players immediately retreat and play more passively. However, if you spam it too much without going in, then your opponents will stop falling back when you blow the ult. You'd have to be careful about how much you used it without dashing for it to remain a credible threat, but it would definitely add more power to his kit while adding some important mind games and psychological warfare that League honestly lacks right now.

Riot tried something like this on the PBE. They concluded that it gave Nocturne way too much power. That amount of vision denial is massive for teams and would be heavily abused in higher elos and LCS far more than anywhere else.

Source for the PBE thing? I always try to keep up with PBE stuff and I can't remember that ever showing up.

And the fact that it would be abused by pro teams? That's the point. It's meant to give Nocturne something that he does that ONLY HE CAN DO so that he'll always be a viable niche pick without having to fight for the scraps of J4/Lee/Vi. Straight number buffing is not the answer because if you just make him OP with numbers then he'll eventually get nerfed with numbers. The only path to sustained viability without cramping out other champions is niche-based balancing like this.

What's your suggestion?
