How do you receive ganks from your jungler?

It truly baffles me. I play mid mostly. And sometimes i even play mages with hard cc that allow ganks to be easy. No ganks, for my lane. It just doesnt happen. And it doesnt make sense to me? Like i get there are other lanes however one gank past the 7-10 minute mark isn't asking for too much. I just kinda wanna ask a jungle main why they avoid mid like the plague. For such an impactfull role id assume theyd wanna help

  1. Have hard cc and kill pressure
  2. Don’t shove to their turret
  3. Vision on enemy jungler
  4. Minion advantage.

Also remember. It’s not your junglers job to win your lane. Ganks are not something you are entitled too.

Considering how riot decided to gutt the junglers alot of junglers are now afraid to gank unless its 110% sure kill. So blame the fact that Riot burned the forrest and sold the scraps to recycling plant. Thats prob main reason for less people wanting to gank

If you're laning in mid vs anything with one (or more) mobility spells then expect to be ignored, unless enemy is really overextended. Mid is too easy to escape ganks due to amount of paths, and there are some midlaners who are basically ungankable, like LeBlanc or Lissandra

I was just about to make a thread on this. Mid main too and even in diamond i have to beg for jungler's common knowledge BUT if i push even for one second i get 3 man'd instantly. It's so frustrating when they prioritize Tank/Autofilled Bot lanes instead of clear and easy ganks on Mid

Probably because mid has the shortest distance from turret to turret, and the most escape routes.

On average, a ranged champ farming a wave that's in the middle of the lane is probably no more than 2-3 seconds walking distance from their turret. That's for champs with no mobility spells. If it's a poke mage (xerath or vel'koz) or a champ with a mobility spell (liss, lb, etc.) they can usually be under turret within 1-2 seconds. That makes it very hard to gank unless you've got some super engage, like Amumu or Hec after 6.

Hurt your enemy. Don't bother asking if you're playing against a slippery assassin like Fizz/LB/Zed. Don't shove them under tower.

its just tougher to gank mid unless they are really shoved up generally ill take a kill mid if i can and shove the tower with our mid laner to help them take turret faster so i wont have to gank their lane anymore

Shortest distance to turret, most escape routes, most mobile champions (ahri, lb, zed, yasuo) makes ganking midlane extreamly unrewarding unless the enemy is at your turret.

I don't get ganks either. I main top and its disgusting. Jungle difference is just... unbelieavable. For a few games I decided to just sit under tower and farm. Literally I afk'd under my tower and waited for the enemy top to push the wave to me.

Enemy jungler AND mid came and dove me when I was lvl 2. Meanwhile my jungler is still doing his second jungle camp. My mid laner is recalling.

Always play assuming that your jungler will never gank, it will improve your performance.

And if it happens - well, you were doing well by yourself, now you have someone with you, kill assured! :D

Jokes aside - really, I see too many people relying on the jungler, it kind of lowers your overall results if you keep waiting for someone to bail you out
