My Team Builder Idea

I posted this previously in "Maps & Modes," but did not get much response, so I am reposting here to see what you all think. This is what I wrote:

I just have an idea, but to help match making in TB to be better in your favor, why not let the captains of the team have a list that they can select certain champions on the list, and match making will ignore TB parties with those champions? That way, since you want to play a Sona mid or one champ that is banned every time, but still don't want to play against teams that have the absurd, broken champions on them, it helps everybody. What do you think, good or not?

I know it can probably result in longer wait times, and the players you get on your team can dispute your choices of what players you ban, but wouldn't this be better for everyone?

To be honest, with as few people who actually play TB, reducing the compatible match ups would exponentially increase your wait time.

Say all captains ban 5 people. Well that's 5 champs that can't be on your team, increasing your wait time (especially if you pic popular champs like Yasuo). Well 10 minutes have gone by and you finally have your ideal team, Now searching for an opponent. Well all other teams have banned 5 people, so If any of your 5 players are on their ban list (or vice versa), then you can't play with them. About 20 Champs are far more popular than the rest (most likely because they're considered to be over powered) and are more likely to be picked. 10 bans wipes out half of the popular champs, almost doubling your wait time.

I like your idea and I think it could work well if the wait times weren't already so bad.
