So,why do rune pages give more value to those who use RP?

For those who don't know a rune page costs,590 RP or 6300 IP

what bothers me? the fact that a 6300 ip champion costs 975 RP

and the fact that 1350 IP champions cost only 585 RP,which means the actual IP price of a rune page should be only a little over 1350 IP

so i just need to ask why?

Yeah the ip price needs to be changed. I think they mostly don't do it so that they don't piss off the people that spent thousands of ip on multiple rune pages.

Because they do need money, maintaining this game isn't free. You need two rune pages to play any champion in the game, AP and AD.

Anything else is a luxury really. Is the IP price high? Yeah. It's like a top tier champ, but they have huge value so it's understandable. If you put some money into the game, then they'll give you these high value things. Trade time for money. It's pretty fair. Not like they have high prices, and a couple times a year they'll do a 2 for 1 deal where you buy one and get a free one.

Remember this game is expensive to maintain. You can earn tune pages, but since the runes you buy are transmittable across all pages. if they were cheap, it'd be kinda too easy to have a rune page for literally everything. Unless you put in the money of course. They're willing to give you that if you contribute.

It'd be pretty fine if building a full rune page didn't just drain your IP like a monster,it doesn't even have to be a replicate value imo, maybe 4800 or 3150 IP,so its still pricy but your not just going to blow everything

Well the thing is, building a rune page is almost like a one time payment. You buy 9 AD marks, and you'll have those 9 for any rune page you ever get. So it's overbearing until you get all the ones you need. I have all the ones I need, so now I focus my IP on champs I never play. It's sort of to encourage playing league a bunch. They don't want you fully functional and optimal with a few months of play time.

And again, it's a business thing. You don't need to blow everything away. Just spend $10 and you keep all that IP and get a couple pages. But, for those that can't afford that, you can earn it. Much harder, but still very well possible. But you can't expect to be able to afford champions, runes, and rune pages all at once. That'd be silly.

Runepage prices tbh are fine, but champion prices are wayyyy overpriced.
