Nidalee nerfs, lets do this right..
Now that we seem to be getting more data in i feel we can discuss this humanely. it seems that the root on jungle camps has been removed form Nid's passive and added to her traps. (aka landing a spear on a jungle mob will no longer root them, while placing a trap will.)
As a nid player i can say that although this is certainly a nerf to her early game clear. its no longer 100% impossible for nid to clear. as we thought based on the changes yesterday
but the real issue i have with this change isn't that it nerfs nids jungle clearing speed.. because it certainly needs a nerf at high levels of play. but the fact that this nerf barely hurts the higher levels of play and REALLY hurts the lower levels of play.
nid already has a VERY high skillcap.. and while i feel certain that with over 2000 game as nid... i can adapt. even so as a silver player this hurts a lot.. nid needs a nerf at HIGH level play, not my level of play
you need to nerf a mechanic that only HIGH level nids can do properly. (something like allowing nid to transform mid ponce so she lands as a human, that kind of thing really helps high lvl nid players but lower level nids never use it) granted this example wont slow her clear but its something that higher lvl players can do that lower level players cant nerfing a mechanic that allow lower level nids to play properly is just approaching this the wrong way.. lower level nids arn't the issue.. high lvl nids are
all you are doing to making it next to impossible to clear as nid without having insane mechanics.. which is completely the wrong way to address this. you need a way to nerf nid so having insane mechanics wont help you as much, this way she will be she is better at lower levels of play (where she needs help) and weaker at stronger levels where she is an issue.
find some way to nerf nid that only effect a mechanic high levels of play can abuse.. not a mechanic that allows lower levels of play to even survive on her
averages between 42-46% win rate
my other jungler
is goign to be a lot better. but IF the chane is going to go through can we atleast get some compensation for it?
