ancient coin is so bad that that no one except janna takes it because she can't make use of the other items I saw rakan players taking frost queen now

Ancient coin quest sucks so hard You need to understand one thing: no support cares about +1 level on spells except sona that needs lvl 16 fast

Ancient coin doesn't give +1 level, if you're lvl 10 you won't get the base stats of lvl 11 if you could, it would have been great on Braum who gets an insane base stats from level, same for alistar you also do not upgrade your passive abilities like rakan Q won't heal more depending on levels

+1 level on spells is so bad compared to frost queen bonus ms, and relic shield out of combat shield that makes supports tankier than toplaners

Make ancient coin quest giving a whole level instead of +1 skill stat

Even if he was right, it doesn´t justifies such a negative attitude. Quoting people just to imply that what they said is dumb or something like this, is just impolite. Noone wants to be treated like that.

The quote in the title suggests to the reader that the quote itself is "dumb". That´s why such titles are rude. They lead the focus on the person who said the quote and expose them without giving them any room explaining why the said the quote or their sight of view.

Thank god you called him out. I've always been annoyed with the quote title threads simply because of the fact that no one ever said the thing in quotes to begin with.

I will admit, sometimes I go in on some circlejerks on the boards, mainly Yasuo ones, but when I see stuff that blatantly false it is annoying. Most people don't bother to fact check what's quoted and take it as gospel, so it's good you decided to call him out of his upvote farming false quotes.

Kinda related to your Gameplay thoughts but I just wanted to say that the recent set of Galio nerfs on the PBE made me really happy.

Ap mid galio is a guilty pleasure of mine and I'm glad you're preserving that play style.

Nothing beats squashing an entire enemy team with a well times Hero's Entrance. Especially now with a 80% AP ratio.

Can't wait to yell "TACTICAL NUKE INCOMING" whenever I'm on voice comms with my friends^^

Hell, I'm not even a Rioter and I have my posts frequently misunderstood or blatantly misrepresented.

I feel like it's just the way of the internet. Not many people read long posts carefully, instead preferring to skim due to the overabundance of content, and if whatever they extract from the content doesn't sit well with their safespace mindset, they throw a fit without first validating the other person's stance or reasoning.

How would any midlaner be able to abuse it? Assuming the "Give 5% CDR beyond the Cap" is tied to the Quest, how are they supposed to get the quest done? Only minions killed by allies drop the Gold-Coins, so a midlaner wouldn't be able to get the quest done until quite llate into the game. Besides, they would be sinking 2200 Gold into an Item that gives what? +45 armor +175% base health regeneration +10% cooldown reduction

the Speed active No damage at all. Zhonyas has the same armor and CDR plus the active plus 70 AP. Sinking 2200 Gold into an item that doesn't give you anything but 5% extra CDR? Really does not sound very convincing to me.

Coin has been terrible since it was reworked. The minigame on it is bad for 95% of all support champs and that's why no one is taking it.

IMO the only way coin might work is if both pickups restored 10% of your max health or something like that.

the mini game is overrated

you can survive the mini game on a lot of champion you don't have to go on top of the yellow coin to get it, except if you're against an agressive botlane but then it doesn't matter because you would have lost no matter what item you took

if i take coin on janna i'm able to survive most of the time

the quest is the real problem it sucks
