nami is such an underrated support

barring morgana, i see no real HARD counters to nami in botlane. coupled with the massive groupwide cc she's capable of, i have no idea why i never see people pick her. she has an aoe cc stun, a heal that also deals damage to nearby enemies, an AA steroid she can put on anyone that also SLOWS, and a massive cc/slowing ultimate that absolutely turns the tides(hue) of teamfights.

with what nami brings to the table leona, thresh, and janna look like childs play. nobody else brings cc as hard as her or offers nearly as much sustain.

Nami is my secret weapon. I've only had her picked out from under me once in Ranked, and never banned. She's a great champ to main :3 and that's not even including all of what you listed. I think most people are just turned off by being unable to land her Aqua Prison; though all you need is some practice. She was also way more popular in LCS last season than this, so that is an obvious factor.

But seriously; stop revealing my secret weapon.

It's a Supp. People are more focused in other rolls plays than the Supp ones. In the Supp players comunity, i think people know she's a force that can't be ignored,the heals&poke, the slow powered AA, the passive that can make the diference between escaping or dieing... In the rest of players... well: Dodge tsunami and easy ass dodgeable Bubble and she's useless u hur hur hur.

She is one of the best designed champions in the game. Just such smooth combination of mechianics and feel leading to both fun and power.

In a lot of ways her power is very subtle and it can be hard to feel you are doing anything. you really have to be a fan of that style of support. She is like a healing more pokey janna.

She is still my favourite champion. I don't play ranked much as the stressssss.. but Nami carried me to 9-1 (4-0) promos into gold a couple of years ago.

the thing is, it's super easy to ks with her. There are so many times i've tried to heal my adc when he's 1v1ing someone, and it bounced off to the enemy and i got the kill. but other than that, nami is great. she and karma are my go-to supports.
