this meta is shit i hope that 8.10 comes so fast that i won't notice it's already there having all the power focused on a single lane (adc+support) is so boring that even adc mains are not having fun

i'm pretty sure if riot brought yasuo morde or whatever the fuck is a carry in the bot lane, adc mains would have fun because they would start to see something else than :

"play 2 or 3 adc, take bot tower, go top, take top tower, go mid, take mid tower, take baron win"

even qtpie said that during his interview with Meddler and stashu

I took Morde bot. The ADCs are really out of control IMO. Morde is an opressive lane bully and I find myself being the one bullied constantly.

I'm an ADC main and have been bored for a while:

Bot lane is boring asf, I remember being able to rack up 10+ kills easily with good aggro supp (I remember having 22 kills in a game, and it wasn't against some idiot it was a former challenger series player who was climbing back up at the time), now we need the jungler most of the time to get kills.
Super repetitive gameplay... pretty much as qt said its just taking bot tower and then rotating mid or swapping with top.
the course of the game is really predictable... having a strong frontline and support that counters any sort of flanking assassins makes teamfighting pretty effortless if not behind. Think back to S4, people were praising ADCs like Deft for their ability to outplay other ADCs (who were top level Korean ADCs mind you) in teamfighting despite being camped hard and put behind in lane. Doesn't really happen like that anymore. Besides, if neither jungler really ganks bot lane in your game usually some other lane pops off and you win without even doing anything.

That said I still play the lane nowadays because I hate the other lanes. Top--pretty self-explanatory though I like playing the champions for what it's worth, just not the lane. Jungler--you can really impact the game early but I've always played jungle for the solo carry which is nonexistent now mostly. Mid--honestly I would play it more and it doesn't sound all that bad but I'm still mad at Riot for taking away my old Xerath. Assassins are fun though. Support--you don't get punished for picking low effort champs like Janna. It's just not a playstyle I'm interested in, I do like playing Nami from time to time though.

So yeah sums up my thoughts there as someone whos mostly playing ADC now.

So you get a Draven main which I can relate to to testify that Adc is boring...

Everyone plays safe and scales bot wonder why a Draven main is bored of bot, he’s not even playing meta champions and his favorite adc is shit rn. Not really a reliable “adc main” to give as an example.....

Sounds like it’s personal play style vs meta play style in the first example, who knows about the 2nd one because let’s be honest

You picked that guy because he supports your opinion. I’m sure plenty of people enjoy playing adc right now, most likely more than the ones who think the role is boring

If your going to make a thread telling riot to nerf Adc’s atleast try like the rest of them instead of getting some people to say the role is boring and that’s a reason to nerf it. It’s like when assassins are op and I tell riot to nerf it because it’s boring to one shot everyone, don’t nerf it because I one shot, nerf it because it’s boring... lol?

Even though I'm a top main and I loath the adc/bot lane is all that matters meta, I still don't want to see adcs or supports entirely gutted. I know I'm just one faceless voice in a million and that bringing perfect balance to a game with over 100 champions is difficult...but there has got to be a better state for the game than this. Because this current state is becoming increasingly unbearable.
