He is healing back champ damage that he took by existing in a fight.

and being able to EXECUTE ON A RESET FOR EXISTING in a fight. You don't have to land anything.
He has to land the ult. To be fair, it's pretty hard to purposefully dodge it if you don't have Stopwatch or Flash, so I think it could use a tiny bit more delay.

Increasing the execute threshold requires items. If he doesn't have AD and Lethality, he'll have a narrower execute window. If he can pull off a chain ult, it stands to reason he'd gain some benefit from it, just like any other champion using a high-impact ult to influence a fight. Is it so different from other ult-bot supports?

I really don't get why you would get an ASSASSIN HEALING AND CC when they have an execute in their kit one that resets/low cd at that.
Because he's an assassin support. He has less damage than other assassins, and he goes to a lane that'll have two enemies, one or both of which might be ranged. That healing is his defense mechanism from being poked by those enemies. He doesn't have a shield, resistance, or other defensive steroid like other melee supports do.

Same goes for someone like Evelynn. Stealth is already horribly balanced in this game right now.
Stealth never works out, honestly.

I wouldn't say no to a slight increase in his ult's cast time, or some kind of reduction to his ult gold production. But there's no chance of that happening until after Worlds. It's almost farcical, but he's a cool champ and Riot wants cool champs to be played in Worlds.
