I'm legitimately curious, are there actually any strategies that involve the use of this item at all?
It seems like for an item that you absolutely NEVER seen people build, it's been around for an awfully long time.. surely there are some people who make use of it, no?
It is, at the moment, an almost completely useless item. I haven't seen one built in a normal or ranked game (by anyone who wasn't trolling) for at least a year now.
No, it is an item meant for diving, but only offers tanky stats while it should offer damage since you disable the turret. Like why do I need armor when the turret can't attack. Also its stats really don't suit anyone well. The item should be a damage item if they ever want it to be purchased and also offer an ally turret buff active.
It was actually used a lot before Towers got nerfed.
I had a support ashe build it...but she focused more on being a pseudo adc and not really support.
Actually Trick2G used it earlier on Nasus while backdooring It won him the game.
Trick2G does. He uses it to take towers and reset tower damage.
