What in the actual fuck is going on with matchmaking right now?!

I have not had one game since the season starts without at LEAST 2 lanes hyperfeeding, or team going literally 5-6 deaths before 3 min. Last game I played I had a 2-18 Sylas then the 0-7 riven with 59 cs at 22 minutes.. the bot lanes that go 0-10 before 10. I've managed to carry some, with unbelievable stress and uphill fighting, but it's been the worst season I've ever seen by 100 miles.

I had gotten to my plat promos when the preseason ended, after only a week and a half of actually playing ranked on that account, having a practically free easy time climbing. Now that the new season started, I cant even get out of silver 2.. it's absolutely unreal how the game is matching me..

I keep looking at op.gg and seeing "Enemy team average = gold 2" ... "Ally team average = silver 4" WTF!! I'm on such a ridiculous losing streak right now I'm embarrassed to even talk about it. Normally I would agree not to blame my teammates, or the matchmaking, or say "elo hell", but omfg.. I've never seen anything like this! I CANNOT get teammates that don't flat out run it down nonstop.. game after game after game.

Like.. is MMR to blame for this or what? There's no way in hell that my mmr is still higher than my elo, with the sheer massive amount of losses I've had so far. So why does it keep matching my team against 1 1/2 better division teams or worse??

The new positional based matchmaking is completely broken right now. I'm Gold 4 support, yet, I've had everywhere from BRONZE 4/unranked/new players/low silvers on my team and the enemies side. It's literally insane that Riot thinks that games like that are fair or in anyway fun for ANYONE in the game.

You are most likely one of those guys that would laugh at or ignore all those "matchmaking is broken" threads. Maybe you'd even call them "conspiracy theorists". It's fun seeing how our "conspiracy theory", that supposedly doesn't exist, just kicked you in the nuts :P

Jokes aside, Riot uses some kind of loop feature of some sorts to add in the difficulty of climbing since like ever. Only lately it got worse, because they most likely tinkered around with it.

ive been staying away from playing ranked on the weekend,seems to be the worst time and tends to be when i go on losing streaks.during the week the games seem alot better with closer games.

Same i went on 11 game winstreak had 80% katarina wr now im at 60% xd literally not a single player on my team has had more than a spec of brain cells

A small part of the problem is that FF is extremely acceptable now. There is no such thing as a comeback anymore, even when it's possible. At least from the games I spectate anyway.

Not many people really care enough anymore, because trying to win and constantly losing anyway is too frustrating.

game is super snowbally atm due to turret plating and huge dragon bonus stats. pick strong early game -> smash opponents face in early -> free win late (unless u throw)

about ppl running it down - when a lane goes 0-1 or 0-2 down, they need help to get back into the game, otherwise they will die for every cs they try to take and thats why it look like they "run it down" when rly they r just trying to play the fkin game. but u lose so much exp/gold from an early death / walk back to lane that its hard to contest cs after that and it snowballs out of control from there.

I never seen Silvers in my plat/diamond games till this season lol.

Well actually that's a lie, it happened in Dynamic flex que too which was also a huge failure.

dude i got 3 accounts hardstuck GOLD4... after 2 days in preason i went from s2 to g2 and i cant even get out of gold 4 right now legit matchmaking is aids and im not playing solo till its fixed

Op.gg is having problems with the api since the ranked season started. You shouldn’t trust anything it gives yet.

So I’ve experienced this but not as much, my winrate is sitting around like 60%. I’m silver 1 and my duo partner is a gold 2 support main. our average game mmr is low gold so I tend to have average games except for some outliers with a feeding team or afk. it’s just seems like low silver elo is just hell rn. For losing players you just get stuck in there. my best advice is not to give up. And try to have fun

too much damage, everyone is exploding with 3 hits or less and game focus on snowballing isnt helping mistake on lane didnt get you punished but killed ...

Almost all my games are 2v6

I almost always have someone who would lose vs BOTs and then 3 other who get carried in Iron.

MY GUESS is that theyre attempting to fuck over bought accounts, by basically killing the account. But Im in the smae boat. Im a good player, no a great one, and Ive got a sub 30% winrate after 20 games..... just get the worse team every single time.... I just have no idea man. We need more posts calling out Riot on the matchmaking. Its awful. I just want a chance.

Tonight has Been either A BLOW OUT or getting BLOWN OUT. NO good games all night most are ff at 15 MINS thats right early Surrenders lol
