Holy shit. For the love of god, please fix creep block
Seriously, this is so past the point of ridiculous. Melee vs melee interactions are decided by rng minion pathing at this point.

Buddy this has been an issue ever since they "fixed" minion collision over a year ago, in fact it's been so long I don't remember when they did it.
Riot obviously feels its working as intended. Even when there are numerous examples of the retarded pathing and collision making champs spaz out or just flat out stop, Riot does nothing.
You ain't gotta yell about it
You would have figured the LCS match where a Shen got stuck on 3 minions and had to flash out would have sponsored a change but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE let's keep jampacking shit in to this frame of a game from 2009

imagine if it happened to a
Riot's response: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Riot's alternate response: It appears minions are presenting an unfair advantage to champions that aren't Lee Sin, so we're testing their removal and a 55 minute surrender timer.
You're being way too generous, it would be more like
"Lee Sin now ignores unit collision"
Dude, how many times must we repeat that IT'S BEEN COMPLETELY REVERTED, the last change to minions is back at the map update and it's just a hitbox change

When your minions help the enemy champion by blocking your escape, you know something's busted up.
It's really annoying when you want to use minions to block enemy skillshots too. For example you hide behind ranged minions to block Ahri's charm but you need to move out the way as soon as she Q's the wave, but you get stuck and eat both parts of the Q because they trap you in.

That shit tilts me so hard it makes me not want to play league at all. :<
I personally love it when I hide behind minions and they suddenly decide to run over to another area and I get yanked by blitz.
Let me tell you a story (read: "stay awhile and listen"): I was once in pursuit of my counter-laner up the top lane. I didn't have any vision, so it was quite the blind chase (never a good idea, I know). But as I was playing Lulu - and as we all know, she got rather effective chasing and/or escape tools at her disposal - I was confident I would see, catch and kill my target in short order.
This was a good 25-30 minutes into the game, so I had items and otherwise considered myself capable and ready for a long chase well behind enemy lines should it come to that, so I quickly and easily made the decision to dash by a wave of enemy minions, paying little mind to their presence (and their cute and tickling little attacks).
Unfortunately, once I caught sight of my intended victim, I spotted the rather excessively fed enemy Lux. I knew I wouldn't stand a chance against her, so I turned tail, thinking cap, purple fairy dust and all and ran away (didn't see what happened to Pix in the turbulence)..."all fine", I thought - Lux was out of range for anything other than her ultimate, which I was certain I would be able to dodge.
In my mad dash back down, as I caught up with the enemy caster minions again, just as they were forming a line, I sidestepped well clear to avoid any otherwise possible (frankly expected) complications. Something I had to reconsider as I saw Lux's targeting laser attempt to light me up real good.
So when I then tried to position myself between the minions and the laser, I somehow got caught in the uppermost caster minion, and as the minion alligned itself with the others, I got dragged along further towards the finales funkeln from Lux. "Fair enough", I thought. "I am still safe, stuck here"...except, just as the beam fired, I got knocked sideways, free of the minion, and straight into the center of her ultimate and died instantly.
Had I not owned an expensive keyboard, I would have ensured to be in need of a new one after that episode...
Whats even worse is when an enemy Malzahars minions trap you against a wall and fuck you up the butt
This made me laugh for no reason.
Your character's pathing gets stuck on minions when you constantly keep giving it a new movement command.
Basically, stop spamming your movement commands so much when you're walking through minions, I never get creep blocked.
I dont get creepblocked often, but even not spamming commands sometimes the stars just align and you and 1 minions are just stuck.
what if you could push minions out of the way, but thats slower than walking around them
it isnt a constant issue or even a deadly one half the time but holy mother of god minions sure love to block my melee cs attempts hardcore
What annoys me the most about this issue is that the main reason that was given to preserve creep block was that it apparently allowed some interactions to have more gameplay and counterplay overall, or would at least prevent some champions from going too nuts (who? when?), but at the same time this completely contradicts Riot's design tenet of clarity (which, arguably, has also been contradicted by a lot of newer decisions): creep block isn't something anyone pays attention to until it starts screwing them over, and when that happens, it feels mostly like the game decided to bug out on them at the wrong moment, rather than the player having made a mistake.
If some champions absolutely need a means to not have too much mobility in lane, even though the champions most affected by this tend to a) be melee, b) have little to no mobility to start with and c) face against champions with significantly more range and/or mobility than they do, causing them to get poked or traded at will by champions who are barely affected by creep block at all, then I'm all for it, but that counterplay needs to be given directly to those champions, and not implemented through a system that feels awkward and frustrating as hell to "interact" with. Creep block violates League's modern design philosophy in a great deal many ways, and has been patently causing frustration across many players at all elos, including in competitive play, while making every moment involving it feel like dealing with spaghetti code, and for those reasons I think it needs to be removed as soon as it can be.
there not decided by it, I'm rarely having problems these days but i do fine he champion pathing can be a bit iffy if you don't do it manually however it does need to be smaller i notice it more on ADC or support and it is frustrating it seems like each minion has a radius around it. (hit box, just seems off)
RIP
anyone else help out the enemy laner who's stuck by killing the minions that has them stuck without taking advantage of the situation?
While I haven't actively helped in such a situation, I have ceased attacking (in what would otherwise have been a certain kill for me) and taken a step back until he got himself untangled.
...Only to have him and his jungler jump me immediately after.
"/all you should have killed me", he said.
No good deed goes unpunished is what I learned from that - again, as in all things. So when he got stuck again on a later occasion, guess what? He died. And I had a proper sadistic grin while killing him.

lol, that is very unfortunate but glad to hear you got them back. You're right, especially in this game, but I still go out of my way to be generous - just who I am.

I know what you mean. Personally, I am a chronic Support player - even when playing ADC. ^^
losing lane vs trynd because u got stuck in ur own creeps and u had to flash out after getting crit twice.
Yeah, its like every season pathing progressively gets worse. Its so bad right now its obstructing me with ranged champs.
yeah, creep block is fucking terrible. I'm with you OP and it seems like it gets worse every season.
