Get into champ select, half way through someone dodges. 2 seconds into the queue it pops again with autofill.
Like seriously? You couldn't wait AT ALL to give me one of my selected roles? It's like the system doesnt even try.

Escheton2 votesIf someone dodges, click that X that marks you would like to leave Q. Then start all over again, having better chances at gaining your normal lanes. Because if you don't, it will keep counting where you left off in Q, now adding the time wasted on the dodge, and that probably was higher than the original estimated time. Which means it wants to fill you just to avoid wait-time.

Something I've noticed (don't know if it's just me or not) is that on those occasions where I am selected as my primary role or secondary role and experience a dodge, 2, 3, or 4 times eventually being auto-filled as support; that's the time that nobody dodges. Is it seriously to that point? I've had this happen to me enough times to seriously question how good this auto-fill feature is.
I saw someone's argument that the old school players that used to have to call and fight for your role don't mind as you typically had to be prepared to play every role before you could ranked efficiently. I've been playing since that time and I still think that it's BS that the players who won't dodge often times are stuck doing the auto-fill role when they really did receive their selected roles 3-4 times before that.

After... around 250 games of support straight? The one game I queue as ADC I'm eligible for autofill? I know it's irrelevant that I didn't even get to play ADC because it's not like the system could know that, but that felt awful. I've just started to play ADC now, but it's pretty silly you lose protection after just one game. If you fill/support for 250 games like at least gimme... 3 games? That I don't have to worry about? There's still a huge chance I'm gonna be given my secondary, anyway. :l
