So Bramble vest is becoming completely impossible to rush next patch

Since it was a reason for reverting Fiora nerfs, can we expect a revert of a revert now?

It wasn't just Fiora, but it hurts her far less now. It still hurts vs Aatrox and other draining auto attackers.

What's the Bramble nerf? I'm very excited.

instead of 15 flat dmg it's 10% of your bonus armor

yeeesssss

although it still seems weird that GW is so easily accessible in the lane phase.

It costs more than executioner’s calling

Yeah, but it created the option for a whole different class of champions, it built into an item that was much less situational to finish in the early or mid game, and the item itself is MUCH more gold efficient to the point where it could easily make you win straight duels while Exec's generally made you lose.

Not that anyone really bought executioner’s. The advantage to that was any physical damage could apply it, as opposed to Bramble needing to be auto’d. However, it’s also the class (or classes, since fighters can buy it as well) of champs that is typically the target of sustaining champs, since they can get a lot more from tanks while tanks did little to them in return. The reflect is gonna be minimal now, so if it’s rushed it’ll be rushed for the GW and the little armor it gives, since the reflect is now 10% bonus armor ( that’s about 3 damage per auto if it’s the first buy and you don’t have Iron Skin).

Anyway, my point was GW is just as accessible early on the AD side, which is stronger since the wielder has control of it and it lasts 3 seconds as opposed to 1. People just don’t build it early cause they have other priorities.

Bramble is stronger because tanks abuse the armor against fighters. The GW is applied if the fighter attacks during a trade or they could just run away and do 0 damage. Either way the tank wins.

If you pick an AD and use EC it's almost pointless because your goal is to poke out of range so the fighter shouldn't get much opportunity to attack you. If they do the GW won't even matter because you built EC and you're squishy as fuck. In that case even a ranged champ is better off with Bramble because it actually protects you from the fighter's all in.

Idk honestly, I don't think the nerf will make any difference. The grievous wounds is still there. The tanks will still take like 0 damage from fighters in trades. So why does it matter if the thorns deals like 30-50 less damage in a trade? That's assuming 3-5 autos and the tank has absolutely no other bonus armor. Like it doesn't matter at all.
