4 months and counting... still no update on Cassiopeia

This was the last thing we ever heard from Riot about Cassiopeia - promising changes and better communication. It was also the third-to-last post Stashu ever made on these boards.

Meanwhile Cassiopeia

  • Still has a Q and W that don't do jackshit without E. 50% of her kit are literallly useless on their own.
  • Still has 95% of her power budget shoved into her E, a low range nuke, the spell in her kit that alligns least with her identity as a sly, poison using manipulator and seductress.
  • Is still the only Champion who would have a better gameplay experience if her passive would be flatout deleted.

I know going back on promises is one of Riot's favorite pastimes... but even by their standards, this is getting ridiculous.

I simply ignore her passive during games. I merely check from time to time if I've unlocked this or that power-up, but I don't feel hard-pressed by it. Plus, I keep in high esteem her non-E spells, just... not for their damage (unless my enemies are very low and they can die from a Q or a R when E is not available because of range or cd). They all possess strong utility as her W can slow and zone, her Q can speed you up and her R is... :Q____ Mastering this form of CC is essential to make up for her lack of real escapes. Then again, her E deals most of her damage, but I guess that, should Rito give her longer-ranged spells more damage and cut some from her E, she would become overall weaker in the process because of their fear for her possible toxicity.

Sigh. It's not about her balance, any champ can be balanced with enough number shifts. It's about how they gave her a crappy new passive and completely axed her poke patterns with Q and W without enhancing her all-in pattern with E.
