It is quite beautiful but I don't believe she actually fits in with the style Riot likes for their in-game assets.(not saying that her new splash art fits that well either though >.<)
this does not look like a meat face. It's more like a boney face. Not to mention the poster doesn't fit in with the other new splash arts.
I have to agree, Janna's new splash is hideous. I'm just not sure who deserves the most shame, the artist, or the blind person that ok'd it.

I feel like the poster looks good as a poster, but I'm not sure if it would transition well into a splash art.
In addition, her current splash art captures Janna's personality and abilities a lot better than this poster. This poster seems to suggest that Janna has ice-based abilities, but she is a wind mage, and if you read Janna's lore you would know that this poster does not represent who Janna is nearly as well as the current splash art.

Though I am not the hugest fan of this picture, as it is too lifelike in some ways, whereas League seems best suited for a balance of fantasy and realism, I do have to say it is better than the one we got.
I would prefer a work that is more inspired by her iconic splash art(or simply edit it to bring it up to standards), but with them trying to make every champion's splash art fit every country's laws, its unlikely this will happen.
If we are stuck with the current splash art, there are some things that could easily be done. Namely, fixing her expression and jaw line, as well as the color balance in the picture, which I made a Discussion about here.
Their argument is that this fits what Janna was intended to be, but when you build her popularity on her visual and thematic update, then try to bring her back the original, unpopular concept, while having nerfed her to the point of no longer being a viable mage, its very dishonest.
Janna does not need to be brought back to the howling, stern, and obvious knock off of Storm that she was. Keep her what she became, something new and original. If you think she does not seem powerful because she is kind, then I think you should reevaluate your definition of strength. Really, it should not be against any law for Janna to smile. :)

Oh boy, again the good old Stanley arts, well the only thing I realy wonder that much people no have idea about Stanley arts. This Janna art such an old one but nice one, her face realy not bad manly looks wierd s--t ("not meat face not bone face", its fakinn manly face!), and no owermade stoopid light and damned colouring!
At this art I say it would be nice to replace the current splash art of Janna, at least! Not like at the Ahri discurse, hhh why a lusty little -** - he made there, with not much difference on the face of the Ahri splash art that would be updateed (fortunately Riot undo-ed it)... ( dont know me wrong I love Stanley's stuffs but he makes the girls such similar on his arts... and both of tham have thet seductive faces... boring if all appear like that ). But I would be fine with this Janna art if this would replace the current one, it's much better!
