Have turrets apply passive AOE grievous wounds/healing reduction for enemies.

With sustain being so easy to get, champions like Volibear Swain Trundle who are the main abusers of this can literally chase you around your own tower, while tanking shots and your damage, and make it out with a kill and at least 10% health left. But not to leave out Olaf Vladimir Udyr Irelia Darius Fiora and all the healing supports there to help them. They to can, while a bit less effective, pull this off relatively easy.

So by making turrets apply Grievous Wounds/ healing reduction (maybe like if only over 25% max health). And when the champion leaves turret range, the debuff is immediately remove, while reentering immediately applies (if they are over 25% max health).

Why? this would hurt gameplay because people are less likely to turret dive, specifically in the early game. The result would be stale early games not to mention that heal summoner spell and sustain champions would be much weaker in the meta.

It is more the mid-mid/late stages when they literally shrug off the damage. But chams like voli and trundle have that sustain in the early game from their passives. Yes, the damage ramps up, but they still could take 3-4 more shots than anyone else could

Good. I want less diving. Makes the game less toxic.

The increased ramp up is already a heavily punishing buff for people that overstay. There's no need to further increase potential damage outputs of turrets.

If there's anything Turrets need, it's another defensive buff. Maybe laser turrets could use a slight damage buff.

Thatd actually be a really good idea...

But then siege comps (op caitlyn already?) will be unstoppable...

His idea has 100% no relevence to caitlyn.

Also you main braum. You counter caitlyn.

Yes it does have relevance. Anyone who is good at siege will excel. If the enemy dives, they get grievous wounds. Long range adc like caitlyn can stay relatively safe. Whatever, implement the change and see if any major meta shifts happen

No it doesnt. His post is about making the healing negated on some champs who are infamous for tower diving such as volibear. Caitlyn has no relevance in this entire thread.

Dude wtf can't you apply simple logic?

Grievous wounds means less dives. Less dives means less treath to siegers, like Caytlin. With this change, indirectly Caytlin would be getting a siege buff, which is already one of her strong points.

how will grievous wounds hurt Caitlyn? Bard

NO... I'm saying grievous wounds would indirectly help siege comps against dive comps. Caitlyn is played in siege comps for her long range. Now if vlad or swain dived her, she would most likely outrage them with this change. Just an example...

okay I see

But it is under her own tower then, so where is the issue? She should have the positional advantage there to some extent. She can't siege an opposing tower under her own.

Maybe for turrets excluding the outer turret.

JavelinJoe1 votes

I could see that being fair

that is just a direct nerf to summoner heal and any healing champion, if you want to buff tower it need to be affecting all champions.

Everyone always forgets about Galio. He's forgotten so much, people make jokes about Yorick, but they forget that Galio is one of the forgotten champions. That's how forgotten he is.

Just as importantly; denying marksmen (and a few assassins) from zoning you out from under your own tower. So tired of them being able to sustain off your minions under your tower, while it's attacking the them, then leaving with more health than before their dive. item 3072 item 3153 item 1083 item 3812 item 3156 item 3139 item 3085 item 1055
