I have to say i really liked only having to play top/jungle.... I outright suck at bot and mid because i'm really only practiced on bruisers/fighters. I don't miss the old queue, it's just bad not getting to play the roles you actually win games with.

^This. I was one of the people complaining about Dynamic Queue, but only in the context of it not being a suitable replacement for TeamBuilder, however Dynamic Queue is excellent for Ranked.

I refuse to play my promos for ranked and will gladly wait the extra week or whatever to play them with the new champ select and do substantially better on them.

Dynamic queue IS solo queue so I'm not really sure what your point is? Riot disabled both dynamic queue and the new champion select because they're the same thing or more accurately the coding is all tied together to the point that they are not distinguishable as separate entities.
Normal draft = Dynamic queue with new champion select (now downgraded to old queue with old champion select) Ranked draft = Dynamic queue with new champion select (now downgraded to old queue with old champion select) Normal blind pick = old queue with old champion select and someday will be upgraded to Dynamic queue with new champion select.
Dynamic queue doesn't refer to a particular queue but rather a type or group of queues. I imagine the new queue algorithm is going to be ported over to all the queues eventually and we're going to end up with 6 dynamic queues.

They're not separate things when it comes to game function they're both features of the new matchmaking system which is why you can't use the new champion select now that dynamic queue's have been disabled. The OP said "I'm just not going to play until dynamic queue is back" and that is a correct and accurate statement. Dynamic queue the feature was broken and as a result the new matchmaker was disabled so he isn't going to play again until dynamic queue is fixed so they can enable the new matchmaker again. You're just salty about your own issues and trying to make everything about your problems out of an inflated sense of self importance and angst.
I haven't seen anything about launching a separate queue for solo players next week and in fact have read from multiple sources in recent history, both before and after the new matchmaker were announced, that they are not willing to segregate the ranked population with separate queues/rankings so I would be interested to see a source for that one. I have heard that they have announced that they hope to have dynamic queues/new champ select back up and running monday at the earliest. [EDIT] I found Lyte's post about it so thanks for the heads up. It doesn't affect me because I almost always play with either 2 or 3 other people but it's nice to know Riot listened to the players that want to have a dedicated solo queue.
Also I don't think you understand the meaning of hegemony or are simply not using it properly in order to attempt to manipulate the narrative to better suit your motives.

Knowing RIot and their "thing" when presenting/insisting on their briliant ideas - I could go as far as:
They don't want players mistaking the "entirely new cool epic experience with friends" accompanied by all those fancy visuals, with the "bah, that old bad dusty mode". (actually if you check the front page video, the "message" is exactly that)
Maybe champ select is tied, maybe is not.*
Thing is, one can safely say that they're different things (tied together*).

I don't think all these people are intentionally feeding (some are, because they wanted to go top/mid/jg and are trying to make the game end quickly) but a lot of them genuinely have no idea whatsoever how to play support. There are no wards, the supports are going 2/10 and this isn't just sometimes, but the majority of times. It's sucking all of the fun out of the game.
I wish at least team builder could be reinstated in the meanwhile so people who were bot lane actually wanted to be there or were relatively competent at it.
I would go support myself, but I was a support main last season and the only reason I've been playing normals is to practice jungling, which I am hoping to do more this season. These games aren't giving a particularly helpful practice experience, so probably gonna just wait until the only option isn't blind/draft pick since it's largely been a waste of time.

Then the one that didn't dodge was in the next roundup with me (with their friend) and insisted on support again. He ended up jungling because I made it clear that I didn't have a tanky enough jungler to go into the jungle against Darius, Zed, Nautilus, and Rammus. Then he continued to complain about me the rest of the game. I went 2/2 Braum Support... Every game I've gone into I'm getting defaulted to Jungle when they start calling out roles and if I don't go to my default, people dodge. It's really becoming a pain so I'm sticking to normals till it's all figured out.

I enjoyed it greatly and can't wait for it to return. Being able to have the chance of one of the lanes I like, and the champion I like? As well as just not one person banning? Pretty sweet for me.

And i wont be playing ranked at all if they dont bring it back. Its really making me not want to play anymore.

Then Riot pulls the rug from under out feet again. Of course it'll be out again eventually, but... unless I'm with a full premade I no longer care to play any matches at all.
