It doesn't matter how well I do/farm, I can only split push because my teamfight sucks and when I try to split push, my team decides it's time to go in 4v5 and die. I don't want Nasus buffed because it's probably not a good idea but my god, the risk you take in picking him isn't worth it because the reward is hardly there
BluePolarizer5 votesI don't see any reason to pick Nasus over Darius or Illaoi.
All 3 are immobile juggernauts but Darius and Illaoi have a higher range of influence, more AOE, more sustain, more tankiness, lower item costs and most of all, better early game.

The changes to Gauntlet/Triforce/Grasp/Visage/Sustain in general have left a character who was being kept fairly balanced atop a raft them rather out in the cold.
