In plat+ games, the winrate of Tahm is

23/25 among supports 34/45 among junglers 42/50 among tops

it does not exceed 50% in any role

i usually completely agree with you, but what about the large majority of this community that isnt plat+, or do they not really matter?

Not saying they don't matter.

I usually use champion.gg stats to illustrate that counterplay for a champion does exist, and/or their kit is not as functional against experienced players.

The best example is Thresh, who is completely op in lower elo where the opposing team is less likely to be able to avoid his empowered aa's and Q, and who is also very good in high elo where there are people who are mechanically gifted with him.

However, in my experiences in gold, platinum, and now diamond, I never fear an enemy Thresh, because I'm not going to take free hooks from him and if they were mechanically gifted with him they would be in master or challenger, or at least several higher diamond divisions than me.
