haaaaaaalp2 votesD4 will be just as bad. The problem with d5 has never been player skill, it is that people simply do not care and the drop off between a d5 who is trying and one who isn't trying is larger than other division 5's.
If masters is going to have 4 sections doing forward, m4 will be worse than d5 is now because you will have the same don't care attitude with an even larger skill drop off.

Hopefully they will do something if a case like that were to be possible for next season's system, because I can agree to the fact d5 was never a skill issue but people just not giving a shit because they got their shiny ass d5 border to use as bragging rights when that just virtually fucks with d4 and d5 to the point that being able to "climb" is instead "who's got the most lax ass mofos on their team" being the only way to win. That or you duo, but either way soloqueue is fucked either result.

I know for higher tier players it’s all just the same but just as someone in Diamond knows there is a different skill level between D5 and D2-1 the same is for bronze.

Ok, but you get the point that D5 can have a variety of skills in it because of how the current ranking system is setting up. That’s the point I’m trying to make.

It actually annoys me that they feel the need to make these changes, which might not even be healthy for the game, just because some entitled players are flaming them.
EDIT: Or alternatively, you HAVE gotten better, but so has EVERYONE ELSE, so your relative skill level hasn't really improved much.

What happens to the people though in B1 that keep getting B4 and B 5 people in their games? There is a clear skill difference there. I would know because I’ve been in all those places. I think it’s going to take away frustration a bit. I can’t speak for the higher tiers but at least from Bronze to Gold I think it’ll make it lest frustrating.
